I am in a wheelchair with only 1 leg. I told the host party of 5. That I need a table so we can remove a chair. He said we have a booth. I advised I can not get in a booth. He said booths fit 6. Advised again I cannot get in a booth. He still insisted I take a booth. I told him I am not going to repeat myself any more. He finally said we could wait for a table. We saw a party of 6 leave and knew it was our table and it took 15 minutes to clean it and another 10 to set it before seating us. Another ten minutes the waitress run by our table saying what her name is which none of us heard what her name was. They never gave us napkins. The waitress came after another 15 minutes with water. Took our drink orders a 1st course. 15 minutes went by my soup came and it was cold, my friends salad did not have the green olives. He asked for his olives. I asked for napkins then realized my soup was cold. She brought olives mixed with capers. He asked to speak to the manager. I asked for napkins again. Still no drinks. Manager came over a while later. He said the olives are mixed with capers. My friend knows they are not because he knows the owner. Manager took soup to exchange it for hot soup. Also asked him for napkins another of the wait staff came with a big stack. All the whole the waitress was giving us attitude and mean looks. Drinks finally arrive. Put in our orders. My soup comes and it is like warm. My niece saw our waitress and called for her by saying excuse me and waving 4 times. Finally the waitress turned around real quick with a mean look on her face then changed the look to a fake smile saying she didn't hear her. Which was not true. We asked for to go containers, she threw them on the table. We asked for more drinks. Then we asked for the bill. One of our members went outside for a minute so I asked if we could get a to go cup for his drink an she said very nasty no not an alcohol drink which I didn't know. Then she was nasty about her tip. I admit because of the way we...
Read more6 of us went out for my Daughters birthday. It's my first time here. Don't hesitate, just go. We had a variety of meals and a few apps. The portions are huge. The food was delicious. Very helpful waitstaff. The garlic bread is amazing. It's more like focacha. It was very crispy outside a softer garlic middle topped with small but perfect amount of crispy cheese. It disappeared from the plate fast. The sweet potato wedges were good. The outside was sweat with a kind of nutty taste soft and perfect inside. The calamari was excellent. A few to many pepers in it for my taste. Meals were all very good. Fettuccine Carbonara was filled with bacon, flavourful, and filling. Fettuccine Alfredo was very creamy and delicious. Pasta marinara and penne with vodka sauce were simply amazing and reminded me of my time in Italy. The salmon in lemon butter sauce was cooked to perfection. The Rissoto was very creamy and offset the broccoli on a bed of garlic. My husband had the chicken piccata with a side of broccoli and rissoto. The app of wings that my youngest had for her meal were cooked well and tossed in a barbecue sauce. My daughter demolished them. All in all, it's an amazing meal. We had a few cocktails as well. I had the Elderberry gin fizz. WOW! The Elderberry flavor was strong yet balanced perfectly. Two of my daughters had cocktails as well. They both found them well balanced and flavorful without being too strong.
I highly recommend going to try it out yourselves. It was not just dinner. It was an experience. Our bill was approximately 250$. But divided by six people with app salad meals and drinks, it was reasonable. They have an online menu. We waited about 10 minutes inside the large foyer for a table. ( it was pouring rain out) Plenty of parking. The lot in front of Joey's is somewhat difficult to navigate, so we parked directly beside it in the very large mall...
