I so desperately wanted to write a stellar review. Sadly, my experience was anything but. I drove 24minutes (one way) with my three children to visit this cafe. Yes, it was on a whim and no, I did not read their website top to bottom. I didn't know it was "advised" to book seating ahead. I didn't realise a cafe would require that. Upon learning there was no time slots available from the owner who couldn't care less, i turned around with my three very sad and disenchanted children. I never heard, "Oh we are so sorry, we feel awful" or "please come back and make sure to have a hot chocolate on us." Anything! But there was nothing to put a smile on my children's faces. As we walked to the car, i just couldn't believe the owner's compete disregard and the cheekiness from the barista. I had to express my genuine disappointment with how this let-down was handled. I re-entered their very narrow cafe entrance. I was very polite when I shared my disappointment in hopes to instigate a bit of emotion from this owner so i can at least walk away somewhat content and hopeful for my next attempt. Alas, I got nothing but unconcern, zero sympathy, zero empathy and inattention. In fact, when I finally realised the owner would just not show the slightest bit of care, I turned around and ushered my children towards the door for the final time. The second I turned my body, I could here, loud and clear, either the cheeky barista or the owner say "Waw." I let it go. How rude and inconsiderate. I really wanted to love and support this place but I will certainly...

I don’t want to be too negative about this place. But I do want other people to know what they should expect when they come here.

For reference I’ve been to many different cat cafes across the country. I’m also a big cat lover and spend a lot of time volunteering with cats. I think the concept of a cat cafe is great and I’m glad NH finally has one. I’ve been following updates on this place on social media for over a year.

The cat room for the Tipsy Tabby is tiny. It is maybe a quarter of the size, if not smaller, of others I’ve been to while accepting the same amount of people. The result is a cramped experience of awkwardly sitting near strangers while people take turns petting the one cat that isn’t sleeping out of reach. In total there were 4 cats visible in the room.

The drinks are average. The workers seemed nice but don’t really interact with you after check in. It would be a nice touch if they came in and said explained the background or personalities of the cats. Then again the tiny space doesn’t really allow for it.

The decorations and cat decor is nicely done. I think if this cat cafe was a more individual experience where you can reserve the space to yourself, bring a laptop and get to sit near cats while you work, it would be a better experience for the size of this place. I drove an hour to come here and felt underwhelmed but I think if you’re local to the area it’s worth checking out. They are new so I’m sure things can...

This was a really disappointing experience... especially after all this time waiting for the place to open. The cats were all asleep in various hiding spots (so you couldn't even really see them), except for one that sort of batted at a toy but was sitting really high up so it was kind of hard to play with anyway. Granted they can't control the cats' sleep cycles, but for $14pp it really doesn't seem worthwhile. Most of us (with the exception of one person who was interacting with that one cat) just sat there for 50 minutes doing nothing at all. Even the people behind the register didn't seem excited about being there. The space is very small and cramped, too. They say that you can have drinks on the outside part if you don't want to go in with the cats, but I don't see how that would work because there's no way to fit coffee drinkers and people going in and out of that hallway at the same time. There are a couple of tiny tall tables by the wall, but it's just hard to picture anyone using them comfortably. The drinks were honestly not great. The iced hot chocolate boba drink was literally just plain milk with a squirt of chocolate syrup at the bottom, and some slimy boba. I expected maybe something closer to a slush or something more interesting. My daughter got a mint hot chocolate and it was really bitter. We tossed our drinks after a few sips. Just a bummer after all of that...

Not exactly what I was expecting, driving over with my son. Where we live animals are not allowed and my son really wants a cat so this seemed like a great alternative. What I didn't realize going in was that these are not cat's that just live there, they are waiting for adoption. So the ones that were there were extremely young and intimidated by people. They said there were 5 cats total but only 2 were out and they disappeared once another person came in this 2 young children. The take away I got was it's a great idea but from an outside prospective do not go in with the intentions of paying money to pet and play with cats. There is a real possibility that you won't even get close any of them in your set time. As for the rest of the place, it is extremely tiny and extremely narrow. Don't try to show up any earlier than necessary because trying to sit down while waiting for your appointment you end up feeling like you're in an aisle seat in a stadium and everyone has to pass by you. The teas were made fresh but asking for an iced chai you wind up with an extremely watered down tea by the time you get it. The concept of trying to socialize these felines for adoption is the only part I liked about going here. We ended up leaving well before our time was up considering the cats climbed all the way to the ceiling, curled up in little baskets placed up there to get away from the children.
