$5.93 for a SMALL Chai with almond milk (to-go). The woman serving wasn't even that nice. Full attitude! Further, the actual space to sit is extremely small. Rent must be very hefty there! Hard to believe that because this establishment has been there for many, many years! So sad. I suggest you get your prices aligned with the times. So sad that you cannot support the small shops anymore. Off to Starbucks I go where I can purchase a large chai and receive a pup cup for less! .25c would be a smarter price adjustment for almond milk on a small! Good luck to you guys! Trust a Local Guide.... Listen to my advice. I'm not, by any means, a "regular" at Crocker's, but I've been here a handful of times. It's not often that I even visit the Island, but when I do.... THIS is the place to eat. My first time was on the 4th of July. There was a line that went out the door, as we were walking by. I overheard the "word on the street"- LITERALLY. (it was actually TWO words though) -- "patty melt." I can confirm, those were TRUE words of wisdom. It's no secret that a restaurant's "best dishes" are most often found at the upper region of their menu....Hence why the fish and chips are at the bottom- because it's "nothing special." Lunchtime at work celebrating a co workers birthday and she wanted Fish and Chips. Welp she searched and found this restaurant. The Yelp reviews looked promising so here we go I got the Italian Chicken Mozzarella sandwich (without the pesto). Very tasty and of course the cheese 😋. She got fish and chips. Also some zucchini bites and the clam chowder. The chowder is very good, bites are average but fine and the fish and chips were ok because it’s not beer battered so she was let down a bit, but again still good.
