Poke OC — Restaurant in Newport Beach

Consistency, Very Fresh, Friendly, Fast, Sanitary, Perfect Portion, Great Prices, Very Worthy. I am super picky about where I eat my fish. You have to be. Double Thumbs up for Poke OC! 7 is the number of completeness. Just finished my 7th visit and they exceeded the expectations of a super picky fish person every time I visited. I never thought a place that sold sushi could earn a 5 Star review from me, but they did it and proved me wrong. The food is so fresh that I can’t risk going anywhere else now. I’ve been to many others and Poke OC’s freshness is unbeatable. With sushi, many don’t realize the huge difference between super fresh and just fresh. They do at Poke OC, and you will too when you go there and try them out. Then you can say that you had super fresh sushi, you learned this difference and it’s not commonly found at most...

EDIT: Just to reiterate what a great spot this is, It has now been 1 year since this review, which was made right when they opened, and I have still been coming back at least twice per week since. For the first time in my life, I have found a place that I can go over and over again and never get sick of!! Amazing!

We went to Poke OC for lunch while in the delivering training. This is a great place to know about inside more of a business park than a shopping or dining area. I got the regular bowl which comes with 3 different proteins. I chose spicy tuna, shrimp, and salmon. There were lots of additional add-ons for your bowl including crab meat and seaweed salad.

That staff is very efficient and keeps people moving through the line. There is limited seating inside and there is outside seating available as well.

I really enjoyed the freshness and quality of the ingredients in my bowl. The flavors highlighted the ingredients. If I lived close by I think I would be a regular...
