We bought two grilled salads that was just basically a ton of lettuce with a very tiny bit of tomato chicken with cheese melted on top.. then got my daughter a small Mac n cheese because unfortunately they do not have a kids menu online they said that their full menu was to be order but when I got there the soup was not to be ordered and that’s originally what I came for.. the people we’re very nice just not super impressed with the food for a little over $40 and for it being a family atmosphere I thought there would be more Childrens options ..
Updated because I can’t comment back.. Im not sure who said you told me what was on the salad because I actually wasn’t told and I did request the gravy on the side for my husbands meatloaf however I didn’t even receive it but your right I should have put that in my review $11 for a bunch of lettuce some tomato and little chicken with melt cheese is still little crazy to me I spent $43 because I still tipped however my review is not only based off not having a kids menu but poor portioned food and the reason I brought up the soup is because even messaged about soup on a weekend and was only told you weren’t opened on weekends and was told sorry for not being open due to catering no one cared to mention you weren’t even serving soup then it was advertised that you had the whole menu but you didn’t I came here for the first time and did not have the best experience and will not be back. A lil Mac and cheese or a pb&j I can make for my child at home isn’t really accommodating and even though yo did give it to me for $4 I still spent $40 on...
Read moreMy family and I rly wanted to like this little hometown restaurant but for $66 the food just wasn’t worth it. My kids fries were over cooked but still edible. The loaded potatoes had way too much cheese. I ordered the pulled pork nachos didn’t realize till I got home that it wasn’t in the bag I called they did make it right however it was still wrong instead of the nachos it was potato’s they did add a extra potato and brought it to my car so they did try make it right they were very polite about it. Suggestion if you’re using the same frying oil for everything plz don’t be my kids chicken tenders tasted like fish (they didn’t mind) but with someone with food allergy that’s dangerous. All around workers were polite and caring we just didn’t like the food but was worth the try. Improvements will make it a top notch...
Read moreThis was the first time that my Mother and I tried this establishment. After a doctor's appointment we decided to test this place and we were glad that we did! We got the deal of the day, which was a double cheeseburger with a side of our choosing.....we both chose baked apples...yum!! The double cheeseburgers had perfectly crisp edges and just the right amount of salt. It was truly a delightful surprise. The family that runs this establishment was super friendly and accommodating, always asking if we needed refills and clearing our table of used items. I loved the extra attention that we received and we made sure to acknowledge that the burgers, were the best that we have had in quite a long time. We highly recommend Guns and Hoses!! We...
