My boyfriend and I casually found this place on accident while walking down the street to pick up take-out from a nearby restaurant. We walked past it initially, gawking out how delicious the pastries looked… and after picking up our food…. we walked straight back to the pastry shop out of excitement. We decided to buy one of each flavors of their turnovers and an Eccles! Their pastries are delicious!!! So good, flakey, delicious, and yet not too sweet! I’ve never had an Eccles before and it was absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would go back to try everything else.

We’re recently from California and are unfamiliar with the area. This was such a pleasant surprise. It’s funny because when we scuttled in to the shop, we noted that we didn’t even bother to read reviews for the place (we often look at reviews before going places)… we just knew that this shop was going to...

When our Son and his new wife had there wedding reception dinner recently we ordered a red velvet wedding cake, pasteries, and cookies! Everybody loved it all! My Mother & Father have been ordering cakes and pasteries for special occasions at Antoines for many years! They are the best! For our daughters bridal shower we also had many compliments on the cake! We would recommend them for all your parties! They were so helpful and even delivered on the big day! They are family owned and a great family. I will always remember a couple yrs ago when I drove my Mother there right before Christmas and she was getting out of my car to go in the shop and the owner's grandson came over to help her out of my car! What a great son (grandson)! We wish you and your.family a Merry Christmas and...

This is the BEST bakery, all the staff are so sweet and not judgement when they see me come almost every week. They are busy but never really have a wait time. Everyone is super efficient. The pastry’s are so addicting because they are truly the best. Everything is fresh and made with love. And they take such care in packing your prized possessions so that you can rest assured they are safe when you drive home and binge eat everything in 4 minutes. The cannolis are seriously the best I’ve ever had the filling is perfect sweetness and the shell is so crunchy yet not hard on your teeth. The lobster tails are to die for and giant and the cookies by pound are delicious. I can’t wait to...

Antoine's Pasty Shop is a French/Italian Pastry Shop located off of Mass Pike in a quiet area of Newton. The staff are very friendly and nice, they really make you feel appreciated when coming to the store and always try to make orders to the best of their ability. Orders come out quickly and they always inform ahead of time if there will be any delays. The pastries are some of the best. I usually get the lobster tail, which is quite large for the size, and have great fillings and the pasty is light and fluffy, without falling apart. The other pastries look great as well, though I typically only come for Lobster tail.

Love love loveeee this bakery. Wow I am not a huge “sweets” fan but this bakery was recommended to us. This placed changed me, every pastry we have tried here has been fantastic. Our favorite is the lobster tails, they are flakey, not too sweet and filling. They are big, so def able to share one with your partner (or save some for yourself for later). My husband went to pick it up this last time in his military uniform since he was rushing out of work, and they let him cut the line (thank you for that, extremely kind). This place is worth it! Take the drive!

I love Antoine's! They're a genuine French Italian bakery it's been in the Lake District over 50 years, kind in there they're friendly, that's just the type of Bakery you want to go to over and over and keep visiting them just to see them and then get some of their sweet treats. I talked to the owner and he showed me the immigration / passport that his sister got and coming into the United States somewhere around 1947.
