Arrived here promptly at 8:30 and the shop was not open yet, so we walked around a bit figuring they needed a few minutes. Ten minutes later there was a line of 5-7 people. The first person in line knocked on a side door since there was no one in sight in the actual shop. Someone from inside then popped their head out and addressed only her saying "yeah yeah we know" referring to the line of people but not acknowledging to anyone else to let us know we should hang tight for a few more minutes...
Finally got inside at 8:45, the same person who didn't acknowledge the crowd told us they only take pre-orders from the previous day and there's no way we could order for today. When we saw online they actually are taking Uber Eats orders, we placed orders for sandwiches, which we were expecting to be cancelled based on what we were told thinking they were just busy.
When we picked up our order, the same person who told us we couldn't handed us our order, and when I mentioned he should have just told us we could go through Uber Eats all he said was he didn't know we could pickup through the app, that he learned something new, turned around and went back into the kitchen, was not apologetic whatsoever. I was SO surprised at this level of poor service that is not how you run a business and cater to customers!
We were at least happy to finally have our sandwiches, but when we opened them on our walk home , the sandwiches were not cut and The Fancy was NOT toasted, it was literally just soggy multigrain bread I couldn't believe it.
I normally do not write reviews, but I was excited to have a Mike & Patty's sandwich nearby and even made a morning out of it. The combination of poor service and poorly made food really rubbed me the wrong way and will stick to the...
Read moreWife saw the place on tik tok, so we ventured over to try it out.
We went with their classic breakfast sandwich—their English muffins are made in house—and the burrito, adding bacon to both. We also tried their banana milk.
The sandwich was good. Quality ingredients and the homemade English muffin was tasty. 7/10.
The burrito was good as well. But after adding bacon, it costs a whopping $16.50. At that price point, this thing better knock my socks off, be absolutely massive, or ideally both of those things. However, it is neither large or exceptionally great. It is a good burrito, but nothing I’ll be rushing back for or recommending others run to try. On flavor, I’d give the burrito a 7/10, but overall it’s a 6/10 when price is factored.
They recommended chorizo, but seeing that neither my wife nor I is a fan, we went with the bacon. They proceeded to make a chorizo burrito anyways, so we sent it back and ate our sandwich while we waited for the proper burrito. They handled everything fine, but I think offering a free cinnamon roll (or something) while we waited would have been a nice gesture and improved our experience.
Banana milk was fun and unique. Personally, I’d prefer chocolate. Worth a try if you’re...
Read moreI’ve been ordering online for awhile and the sandwiches were always great. Figured I’d finally stop in when I was in the neighborhood and BOY! so pleasantly taken aback by the friendly staff, a super cute space, and delicious looking pastries to choose from. I often ordered the fancy croissants that had interesting flavors, seems like they always do at least one, but I also tried a cake slice (bar? tart?) I dont know. It was great. Gluten free cherry situation. I definitely would not have normally steered that way but the staff member suggested it and it was great! As for the sandwiches, they’re the tastiest and cheesy deliciousness you want for brekkie. What more could you want? Go there, but don’t make the queue too long for...
