P J's Deli — Restaurant in Newton

This place warms my heart! After spending a few days in Florida, it was so nice to come back home and experience classic small town Iowa hospitality. I’ve been wanting to try PJ’s Deli since I moved to Newton in June, and I finally got around to it. Took me long enough! It’s definitely going to be a breakfast/lunch staple for my boyfriend and I. The Paisano and George Almighty sandwiches were so tasty! The sandwiches were piled high with meat— you definitely get your money’s worth here. And the service is great! The employees are the sweetest. They forgot to brew coffee, and when we asked about it, a very kind lady brought it to our table and later gave us a free cookie and brownie to make up for the “error” (it was no big deal at all). What a way to start the day Pam treated me to an over the top in deliciousness Special Italian at PJ's Deli. I ordered mine with pepper jack cheese and ask them to make it an angry Italian by lacing it with Jalapenos. I've eaten mine grilled as well as heated in the past and like both ways, but really do prefer heated. This is a magnificent sandwich from a magnificent restaurant. We in Newton are very fortunate to have have them here.

You never know who is going to eat at your restaurant. You never know how hungry they are. I say that to say this, from the moment I walked in i got a smile and a nice greeting, i orederd the chicken salad sandwich, very delicious, variety of sliced deli meats, as well as breads, I choose PJ's because subway just couldn't cut it for me, I wanted a more "home style" sandwich, and I got what I was looking for plus a full belly...good...
