A Superb and Beautifully Decorated Restaurant.
Seasons 52 is a very special restaurant indeed.
The staff are urbane, polite, friendly and informative, and they aim to please and make you feel very special .
I decided at the last minute to have Thanksgiving Dinner out with a friend.
In calling several restaurants in the area, all were booked solid and it was, "have dinner in the bar if you can get in and early enough."
I found Seasons 52 by accident on the internet. It allowed online, to make a reservation and they had openings for Thanksgiving dinner.
I also called to make sure this was accurate. When speaking with the staff, they assured me a reservation at a specific time.
We had a great table across from one of the most gorgeous bars I have seen in years.
I ordered the classic Thanksgiving dinner and my friend ordered a steak.
The dinners were served within 7 minutes, which was very fast indeed.
The Turkey Dinner was superb, large thick juicy white meat turkey with beautifully prepared dark meat, mashed potatoes, creamed squash, stuffing and small sized sweet rolls ,with amazing Pumpkin butter.
The dinner was very fairly priced, in fact less than all I priced, from other restaurants. Gravy was offered, as much as I wanted and the feeling of the staff was like having dinner with family.
The manager was going to each table to check that everyone was happy with their dining experience, a very urbane and friendly chap.
We had a nice conversation and he further enhanced the dining experience. I have to say the decor is very homey and warm and gorgeous.
I noticed the menu has some creative and amazing options for a dining experience with variety.
Desert came with the dinner and it was so creative. Anything from Flan to moose and others were presented in a beautifully terraced tray with the desserts served in large shot glasses. Just enough to frame the dinner.
Just to mention, I like water with dinner and their water is very tasty and nice and cold. I also like maraschino cherries in my water and their cherries were top notch and tasty.
This wonderful restaurant is a gift to the Chestnut Hill area. This is a must try and it won't be your only visit, many items must be tried.
I can't say enough how wonderful this restaurant is indeed. So get in your car, or walk, if close by and be spoiled by staff, food, and drink in a high style experience that will leave a smile...

Had guests in from out of town who wanted to catch up over a meal. We reserved a - quiet - table away from any bar and confirmed with the manager Fred. "Not to worry, ask for me when you arrive." We arrived on a weekday evening and were told the only booths available were in the bar. Fred? He was out at the moment. Someone arrived stating they were the Manager. After making the case about reserving a quiet booth, we were told one was being cleared it would take 10 - 12 minutes. Another 15 minutes and we did get seated in a 6-8 person booth - quiet though. Ahhhh, peace after 25 - 30 minutes.
Someone arrives, announcing THEIR name...I have 4 guests I want to talk to ... now I have a new friend. OK , OK - there are specials, water arrives - glasses spotty, wine arrives with a 'tasting' a plus etc...... after ordering. We settled into some comfortable conversation interrupted again and again by the servers with questions ... tastings, 52 menus, calories on and how 'we doin here folks'....where's that comin from???
Actually, if they were better managed and trained, the rating would be 4 stars. The food was right up there with 5 star white table cloth establishments. But to be asked on more than one occasion by our servers to pass our plate, glass, utensils to them - rather than their having quietly taken them away ...c'ome on that's when I'm spending $12 per person - not $50+...makes it the Olive Garden experience all...
