Updating because I had a horrific experience with some African-American guy working there. He was incredibly rude to my husband & I who are very chill people. I wrote them on the app, looking for a response from & to speak with a manager about the situation but was completely disregarded. The manager DOES NOT care. I'll never return to this location.
I enjoy the food at Cava but today was my third time visiting this location and it was awful. The guy making my bowl (black, with a name that was like Fallou or something similar) was rude. I asked for feta on both of my bowls and after the first one he claimed they "ran out" even though he could have easily turned around and got some from either the fridge or the other line, where they assemble online orders. I physically saw feta there. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier was nice but for some reason had 3 bowls in my bag, despite me ordering two. When I told her I only had two, she took one out, and apparently didn't confirm which one because when I got home I had the WRONG bowl! It was a salad with no rice & none of the toppings or dressings I ordered. You'd think it'd be an easy fix, but I called the store four times and it rang and rang every time until it just hung up on me! What kind of restaurant doesn't have someone answering the phone. I didn't feel like driving 25 minutes there and another 25 minutes back, but I ended up hungry. Threw the bowl they gave me away and am waiting for a response to my email inquiry. If not, I intend to go in & speak with someone in a couple days. So far, bad customer service though. Ridiculous and disappointing since their...
Read moreI cannot say enough great things about CAVA Chestnut Hill and their incredible manager, Taylor. I had placed a large Uber Eats order for 20 people for a work event, and at the last minute Uber Eats automatically declined it because it was over $200. With 20 hungry coworkers relying on me, I called the restaurant in a panic.
Taylor calmly walked me through options, even while Uber Eats customer service was zero help. She went above and beyond—offering to accept a PDF of my order directly, process it herself, and then personally hand-deliver everything with a teammate since Uber Eats drivers wouldn’t be able to.
Sure enough, right on time, Taylor and her coworker arrived at our coworking space with our full order—perfectly packaged and labeled with each person’s name. It was flawless, and my team couldn’t stop raving about both the food and the experience.
Taylor truly saved the day. Her professionalism, problem-solving, and genuine care for customers is next-level—she deserves a raise immediately. CAVA has always been a favorite, but after this, I’m a loyal customer for life.
Thank you, Taylor and CAVA...
Read moreReally disappointed with my most recent experience at this location. When they first opened, staff were super friendly and walked around tables to check in on diners. Now, tables are not wiped down. Staff stand around clueless and chat amongst each other (I stood for a full minute before someone noticed that I was waiting for the vegetable toppings). But most importantly, portions are considerably smaller. What shocked me was seeing an online order being made, where the employee was about to add a normal amount of meat to the bowl but hesitated and put it back! I ordered the half half lamb and lamb meatball bowl, and was told that 2 small spoons of lamb and 2 tiny meatballs was the standard portion. As someone who comes to Cava specifically for healthy, protein-rich options, this location does not live up to the standards. They also were missing diet soda from the machine. While I understand this may be due to shipment issues, at least put a label indicating “out of order,” so customers don’t waste time filling up a cup of just sparkling water. Will be avoiding this location...
