beautiful shop. i want to give a fair & honest review. i am not a rich woman by any means but i have had homeware from anthropologie for almost 15 years and so i will say the quality is amazing. anthropologie isn’t the place i go to get clothing because its out of my price range but i can occasionally afford a beautiful item from their home or accessory section!!! recently we had a very positive interaction w/an amazing blonde woman with short hair who was beautiful and had a STUNNING personality! she was nothing but authentic, lovely & simply treated us like anyone else who would walk on the store. like humans! so thank you so much! i wish i remembered her name!) however there have been other days where either the clients or employees sadly size you up based on what you are (or are not) wearing. definitely do not feel welcome by some of the workers or customers when i come in with my daughter. (been coming in periodically with my daughter recently because we are staying in the area although i have lived in mass for 35 years). most ppl didn’t talk to us our knowledge us but it was only a few years ago they were kissing our when we went wedding dress shopping. i ended up eloping so i get it. i’m not the ideal anthro client but i literally lost almost every belonging i’ve ever had yet i held onto my anthropologie dish rag, spoon setter and butter dish. some of the ppl who walk into your store may come from nothing & may have nothing but you never know how many things from your store brought so much joy to their lives. pls stop judging on what we wear or what...
Read moreRacism will ALWAYS Live in those WHO ARE UNHAPPY with their lives! It shows at this Anthologie in Chestnut Hill, Anthropologie, 220 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 to be Exact. Racial profiling should be a CHARGE! I am mortified to say I was once a customer at that location! It should not matter the color of you skin or the brands you wear, a person should be able to shop in peace with their hard working money and NOT be Judged as soon as you walk into a retailer!! I know racism will always exist but at what point in your life will you realize life is full of different races and retail stores are for all! Ha never because of people like those that work at Anthropology in chestnut hill. Corporate should be ashamed as well but sadly to say they seem just the same! I have seen this action before at this store and it is Very Sad, Disgusting and unfair! Most of the time it be their own people STEALING FROM THEM! PS You never know Who or What's a person position into whom get a REALITY CHECK from...
Read moreWe were incredibly disappointed with our experience at Anthropologie Bridal. During our appointment, we were presented with an off the rack dress that we fell in love with—only to find out after purchasing it was on backorder. Even worse, the estimated availability continued to be pushed back with no clear timeline or communication from the company. We had to repeatedly reach out ourselves just to get basic updates, which added unnecessary stress to an already emotional and time-sensitive process.
The most frustrating part was that the status of the dress on the website didn’t reflect the reality of its availability, leading to even more confusion and false hope. For a company that caters to brides during one of the most important moments of their lives, we expected more care, transparency, and proactive communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Brides...
