Sned's — Restaurant in Newton

Ok well here's the deal I remember sneds pizza being really really good but tonight I ordered from them and got a hamburger and onion pizza and I thought well since I had it before which was awesome but this time around they really skimped on the toppings and didn't have enough sauce for one and was really dry and also I don't know what they used to put the cheese on but there was very little to no cheese and some pieces didn't have any at all so they really dropped the ball on this one tonight and Idk if I wanna give them another try to redeem themselves or not but as far as now I'm not going back...

The worst meal I ever ate. I had the seafood platter which came to me as a seafood soup and after eating half of it I knew something was wrong so I paid for it and left. By the middle of the following day my stomach turned upside down and before the night was over I was in the emergency room in Grinnell because the er in Newton plain sucks and was there until 3:30am before I was sent home after an injection of fentanyl to help with the pain. Terrific place! I tried it while passing through town during travel, and really enjoyed the food and the service. This place has changed hands a few times over the years, and seems to have gotten back to the best of its roots.
