West Newton Pizza — Restaurant in Newton

My family and I found this place on Ubereats and it's become our semi regular place to order from. The portions are great and the prices are fantastic. The menu is astonishly huge. And the dinners are great coming with a nice portion of garlic bread and salad in addition to the main course. We typically order salads, spaghetti and Eggplant and/or Meatballs, sometimes pizza, calzones, etc. Even ordering delivery, the cost is actually less than some of the other pizza type places around here considering a large pizza is $20 at some local spots or a basic salad is $13 or more. 1. placed a 20 dollar order today using Uber eats at 8 30 pm and the restaurant cancelled the minute my order went through.
2. Made a new order for 30 dollars couple of minutes later and waited one and a half hour to learn the restaurant never started preparing the order. They cancelled the order after a long wait.
3. tried calling them multiple times and they would pick up the phone and then hang up.
4. when they finally answered my call they told me they were not going to prepare my food.

(2017) Cheap quick grabs, the food is pretty good compared to some other places. The Subs are what make this place shine, their Danger Zone subs are the best.

(2023) Not in college anymore and sadly it's not close to my workplace but stopping by when I can is always nice. The food I house is perfect temperature. The fries are a bit hot but I don't mind since they are fresh out and crispy so I can snack on my sub and eat the fries as they start cooling off. They do have a Cajun seasoning you can ask for, nice zest and spice for the fries.
