My bourbon buddies and I went to BrainBrew in Newtown, OH. You should go if you haven’t. We found NVT on Google. This place is Awesome! First, their bourbon selection is incredible. They have Penelope, Blantons, Weller, and Buffalo Trace. Second, their pours are the best that I have ever seen and they are reasonable. It is so nice that they don’t screw their customers like most other places do. Third, their pizzas are outstanding and quick. Fourth, their wait staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and really cared about us. I have never, ever left a 50% tip before but I did here and probably should have left more. One waitress was having a tough day but you would have never known. Fifth, their customers are so nice and two groups behind us sang happy birthday with us for a person in our group. We exchanged business cards and look forward to see them again. When we walked out, there were families with kids. The only unsettling (I’m kidding) is a picture of Pete Rose and Tony Perez on toilets in the men’s room! The owners of this place are great people who understand customers, quality, and how to run a business. Well done...
Read moreOrdered their 12 inch cheese pizza for take out. Being from New England, I was kind of spoiled by good pizza all around Boston. The pizza here was just okay. I'm glad I tried it to see if it was any good. Probably won't get another pizza there again. Did think they were better than Grandma's pizza. Gonna try Mio's tomorrow. Oh yeah, this was not cut into triangle slices but goofy squares... A notch above grocery market, but just a notch. Little Ceaser's (if done fresh!!!) is just as good and a little cheaper. (For me it's a little closer.) It is better than Vegas pizza (and most pizza's from the south)!!! Though that isn't saying to much either.; BUT NOT!!! New England or New York pizza! If your ever in New England try Zesty's pizza in Chelmsford MA (the inspiration for the Simpson's pizza place) or CJ's pizza in Hudson MA. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. There are a lot of similiar pizza places to these, but these are the best. Also, "Mystic Pizza", the inspiration for the movie is in CT, and it's similar to these, but...

Don’t get me wrong, the food here is excellent. I absolutely loved my pizza and even loved it reheated. However I got a notification today from my credit card company that a 53% tip had been added to my bill. I remember though I did not leave a tip with my credit card because we left a $10 bill on the table. I always mark the receipt with a slash if I am not leaving a tip. I’m extremely upset about this so if they don’t do something to correct this, I’ll be extremely disappointed.
Food is great but be warned when using credit cards here.
UPDATE: after leaving a voice message the GM contacted me directly to get the issue resolved and was very friendly and apologetic about the issue. Like said, the food and atmosphere was great and well- good to know they take care of their people. Will definitely be returning cause I need more of that...
