Short Park — Attraction in Newtown

Went with a group of friends in overall everyone was very happy with their meal. I purchased the Cantonese pan fried noodles and the noodles were completely uncrusted when it was delivered so it had to have been sitting out waiting for the other orders for some time. They need to work on timing for dishes that require expeditious delivery to the table. Another problem I had was while asking the person at the front desk a food recommendation and explaining to them that I am not your typical american, and I wanted their recommendation on what the must have Dish would be on their menu. I was told general tso's chicken, which is the most Americanized banal possible choice on any Chinese...

A great and usually uncrowded park. Excellent access to the Little Miami trail. Clean public restrooms.

Update: 16 September 2022: Great news! For those who like to use the main parking lot, you know it's been closed for most of the summer. Well they've finally finished the resurfacing project and it's all blacktopped now, with newly painted parking lines and it looks great. It isn't quite opened up yet, but I'd expect it any day now. It will also have ADA compliant curbs for wheelchair access...

Short Park is one of my favorite parks. Located in the neighborhood of Newtown, it contains 4 basketball goals, a medium sized reservable Pavilion, a Men's and Women's restroom, and a 1 mile walking track. There's also a large grass field which is great for a pick up game of soccer. That's pretty much it though. There are no swings or a playground area. If you stay until dusk, you can catch great views...
