Artful Things Niceville is a member in good standing with the Niceville - Valparaiso Chamber. In addition to carrying name brand art supplies, the custom frame area offers personal consultation and well stocked matting and frame selection. The building also houses a gallery which is chock full of original artwork created by local artists and artisans. There is classroom space available for small group and or private instruction by certified teachers in a range of mediums and techniques. The owner, Share, is very welcoming and excited about art. She will greet you as a friend she hasn't met yet.

You may walk in and at any time watch Gallery member artists create their one-of-a-kind pieces. It is a laid-back atmosphere where you can spend some time and leave with a renewed appreciation of art in its broadest sense. This was my daughter and my first time visiting Artful Things and will be coming back. The owner was beyond helpful. We were immediately greeted and when I told her my daughter is a little artist and want to feed her passion of art. The owner took the time to walk my 8yr old through the store explaining and showing her all that my daughter wanted to know or might be interested in. Along with that she also informed us of classes that the store has taught by local artist. By the time we left with some art supplies/work my daughter couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved the store and can’t wait to come back for the classes. I guess the owner was having a bad day. I have been a good customer however I hadn't been in a few months. I came in after calling about a specific item because it was out of my way. I was told they had it but when I got there they only had one kind. I mentioned having called beforehand and she just walked away in a very rude unprofessional manner and stated it was all she had and "not to push her lady" I will am not a mean or rude person. I was stunned at how rude she was. I guess she is doing well enough to be able to treat certain customers with such disrespect.
