Do not place a mobile order here and expect to recieve a refund if they do not have the items to make it.
I placed a mobile order on 04/02/2024.The order was marked as ready and I went to pick it up. Upon arriving, I was told that they were out of lettuce and spinach for the Tuna Salad and therefore they could not make it. I said "Fine" and they started making the rest of the order.
After about 15 minutes, the employee at the counter (the same one who informed me of the lettuce situation) told me my order was ready and offered me a free cookie for the wait. I said, "No thanks, I just need a refund for the Tuna Salad".
The employee told me "Alright." and then proceeded to touch the screen a couple of times before stating "I've never actually done this before, I'm going to have to call my manager.". Again, I was like "okay."
At this point, he started pacing behind the counter while appearing to be on the phone with the "manager". He then said that "Since you place it on the app, you are going to have to get a refund through the app." However, because I I have received a refund for an unmade mobile order before, I knew this was untrue. I stated such and then he went back and forth with his "manager" saying "I don't think he wants anything else, he just wants his money". He then hung up, supposedly, and said that his managers orginal offer was "You can come back tomorrow and we will make you the salad" but that he talkied him into a refund and that they just needed to call "Tim".
They never appeared back from "Tim" and after about 30 minutes of waiting, I decided to leave without my refund. I told them I was going to leave and they seemed relieved and I got a "Sorry man". I double-checked the owner's name was "Tim" and the employee confirmed.
It's not so much the $8.99 for the Tuna Salad, but the backwards response to my refund request and that they essentially outright refused the refund. I'm not sure if the employee even called a manager or if there was ever any intention of giving me my money back. A mobile order that claimed to be ready at 8 pm turned into a 45 ordeal with no resolution and my money basically stolen. I know it's a bit dramatic, but it definitely bothered me enough to write...
Read moreOn the evening I visited (January 23, 2024), I was excited to try one of the new menu items, a footlong chocolate chip cookie. I asked the employee if they had it this evening, and they replied “no”. I asked if they of other three new menu items other than the cookie (which is a footlong churro, and the footlong pretzel). The only one they had during my visit was the churro.
How can this be? It’s a new menu item. I’m fairly certain that if one of the most visible, and most popular fast food chains in the world was going to roll out a new menu item, there would be a sufficient supply.
I reluctantly settled for the churro. 🙁
I requested to add a six inch sub in addition to my churro. I asked for a turkey sub. I was told there wasn’t any tomatoes or provolone cheese.
What’s going on here !?!?! Is this what Subway has turned into .. a miserable experience? I’ve never had this a problem at my local Subway. I’m presuming that this particular is under prepping for the day or just doesn’t care what their customers desire. I’m sure if the operations manager is reading this review, they will reply or remedy...

Wilted Lettuce: The lettuce in the sandwiches looked old and unappetizing. Sauce Shortage: They were out of every commonly used sauce, leaving limited options for flavor. No Ice: The ice machine was empty, making it impossible to enjoy a cold drink. Clogged Drain: The soda machine's drain was clogged, resulting in a bucket being used to catch the overflow of possibly melted ice and spilled soda—unsanitary and unprofessional. No Tea: They were out of tea, which is a staple beverage for many customers. Soda Shortage: Major brands of soda were unavailable. Missing Menu Items: They had no meatballs and no provolone cheese, two popular choices for sandwiches. Cleanliness Issues: The floors and tables were filthy, which is unacceptable for a food establishment.
