I ordered pad see ew and green curry to go. The noodles were over cooked, mushy and all lumped together. They didn't even bother packing the lime, cilantro, or crushed peanuts on the side for to go. The said vegetables were almost non-existent. It was literally a dish of under seasoned sad noodles and some meat. The green curry was bland and watery, a few strips of bamboo and green beef peppers, a few pieces of meat floating in a pool of watery curry. How do I put it? The opposite of a hearty dish. You can still taste a little bit of the coconut and the lemongrass, but beside a sugary sweetness in the taste, there was nothing else. No umami, no savory, barely spicy. I was expecting jasmine rice with the curry, but it was low quality - Chinese take out equivalent rice. It did not taste authentic. Back in 2016-2018, I used to come quite often and it was far better than it is now. Not sure what happened but this one is now off my list. Total $28 (one person) for a very...
Read moreThis review is based off my most recent visit here toward the end of 2022. For your money, Sawadee used to have the best curry in the entire area including surrounding cities. What I received last night was not great. I ordered the Massamon Chicken curry. In days past, the curry was filled with vegetables and chicken. It was a meal in itself. What I received last night was solely about a quarter of a chopped cucumber and 4 small flat pieces of chicken in really tasty curry broth. I would have gone one star, but what I ordered did taste great. It is still the best. But value for money is completely gone. Had I known, they would not actually be putting a variety of vegetables and a fair amount of chicken in the meal, I would have ordered a different dish. Sawadee, it’s hard to find really good flavor. Stop skimping on ingredients and start feeding your customers. This was my monthly treat and I...
Read moreI had Thai in Vegas and wanted to see how this restaurant fared. Problem is I'm on a fast and can't eat meat. The waitress guided me to the L12 Pad Pak. I'm all about eating with my eyes, and this dish did not disappoint. The vegetables were fresh and colorful. The carrots and broccoli, bright orange and green, respectively. The mushrooms and cabbage weren't mushy, but firm. I asked for mild and the red peppers weren't too hot. I had shrimp, but I think if I had chicken or beef it would've been more flavorful for the carnivore. Overall, I enjoyed it. Did I mention they immediately brought out the house salad with the tasty peanut dressing. Sorry if you have a nut allergy. Overall, it was a good...
