My son had a swim meet about 10 minutes away from this restaurant. A lot of time to kill while waiting for each event at swim meet to occur. Decided to come to Jarasa for quick lunch to dine-in and take some to go and head back to the swim meet event.

The place was medium busy at the time of my arrival. Super cool staff behind the counter and one guy was singing nicely while cleaning the tables and concession session in the guest area. The singing guy put a smile on our faces.

Placed an order for a chicken wrap and french fries (the meal) and a second chicken wrap to go. Waited for about 10 minutes and got the order. Ate onsite the first wrap - super delicious. The french fries not my most favorite, but not so bad either. It will be great if the fries were not so oily, but again that is their style and it was not so terribly bad either.

The atmosphere is simple, but pleasant and happy. Great view of the salad/food bar, definitely makes you hungry and want everything, and there are nice pictures of Jordanian history in the dinning area to look at and learn about while eating.

About an hour and half later ate the second wrap away from the restaurant at swim meet. The sandwich was cold by then, but still tasty and fresh.

I love middle eastern and Mediterranean food and had so many variety of them. This was my second time eating at this place and I must say this place is great and the food is authentic, specially those who are aiming for halal meat. This is the place to go and be. I will visit again should I be...

Let me be clear: I wasn’t ready for this. I came to Jarasa Kabob expecting a simple meal. Instead, Khalid (the owner, the legend) personally served me a plate of kabob so good it felt illegal. I took one bite and thought, “Oh no… this is how people get addicted.”

The lamb kabob? Juicy, perfectly seasoned, melts-in-your-mouth like it’s been slow-cooked by angels. The chicken shawarma? Tender, smoky, and wrapped so flawlessly I swear it winked at me. And don’t even get me started on the garlic sauce—it’s not just sauce, it’s a lifestyle choice. I genuinely considered bottling it up and taking it home like contraband.

But here’s where it gets dangerous: Khalid. Sir. How are you running a restaurant and looking like you just stepped off a cooking show? He greeted me like family, remembered my order, and had that confidence of a man who knows he’s serving the best kabob in the city. Honestly, if Michelin inspectors had taste buds and emotions, Jarasa Kabob would already be on their radar.

This isn’t just food—it’s therapy. It’s a warm hug wrapped in pita bread. It’s the kind of meal that makes you text your ex “never mind, I’m good now.”

Jarasa Kabob isn’t a restaurant; it’s a pilgrimage. Khalid turned me into a believer. 11/10 recommend. Come for the kabob, stay because Khalid won’t let you leave hungry—or...

Unfortunately, our experience with this restaurant, didn't live up to our excitement. We placed our order online, RE received a call that they didn't have the plain rice so they asked if we were ok with the spicy rice, which was fine. We ordered our entrees with kabobs, rice, and two sides, the sides we never got in the package (found out after we got home). When we called the restaurant, the front desk girl first said it was something we were supposed to pick up on our way out, like we are supposed to know that? And then she replied maybe they were out of the sides then... We paid $55.00 for plain rice and kabobs, with no sides? And you're not even going to have common sense or good customer service and say, sorry you can come pick up your sides at the store we will have it ready for you. WOW. By the way this girl was very rude, however the guy upfront was nice and did throw in a free baklava to make up for the rice substitution.

The food: The Kabobs tasted delicious and the rice was spicy. Sadly, we will never know the true potential of the whole meal because that's something we never got. The food was dry without the side and we had to wash it down with a drink. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon or ever again, but I do hope the best for...

My eating experience at this place began as I walked through the doors into this immaculately kept place. It was very impressive to see. Best part was this adorable young girl wearing a hijab with a huge bright smile asking me what I'd like to order. I explained to her; it was my first time there; she offered me the lunch menu. It seemed I ordered everything - Vegetable Combo and House Combo, mixed bowl, Chicken sandwich and plate, homemade Lentil soup; and of course dessert too Pistachio Baklava!! The young gal was so helpful and made my experience a pleasant one...sauces, salads, meats and vegetables; she assured I had every on the menu...and yes...she was right; the "Fire Sauce" was amazing and flavorful...even for an American. I'm still enjoying my meal but had to stop and share what amazing fresh food this is, highest of quality and portions. Everything had its own unique flavor and beautifully prepared. I will definitely come back again for more and to see that adorable bright smiling woman. Thank you for an amazing meal and experience; and of course that bright smile!!

This is a good place and halal. I'm not 100% sure if Zabiha though. You have to ask them for extra spice because the middle eastern food is usually not so spicy and flavored. But they will do it. Clean and smells good. After hours you can park and eat. I'm not sure on how the reservations work but they make your food ready whenever you want it. Este es un buen lugar y halal. Aunque no estoy 100% seguro si Zabiha.

TLDR: good food, a bit overpriced. Bad service and atmosphere I went here after reading reviews about the amazing food for the price. It wasn’t a sit down restaurant and the food looked and smelled good, so I initially had no complaints. However, the service seemed a bit rude? I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not middle eastern, but I wasn’t greeted once even though the guy in the front made eye contact with me multiple times, but he was very friendly with other middle eastern people. The order came out close to $20 (one person, no drinks, no appetizers) and the food came in to go containers for dine in. I waited more than 15 minutes for an order when I was the only customer, yet they kept packing to go orders. Though the quantity of the food was decent, it seemed a bit unnecessary to force a salad/second dip? I’m not a very salad-y person and one hummus was more than enough, so I wonder why not just have it as an option for those who want it. Furthermore, after sitting down, there were multiple flies inside the restaurant.
