I'd just flown in from the uk and I'd just got to my accommodation to freshen up then I and needed some proper American pub grub and beer, after my long journey. So I stepped out and walked 1 mile to Morrison Roadhouse. I had a good feeling about this place when I checked it out on maps. The Spicy Southwest Burger and seasoned curly fries are a generous size full of flavour..Thanks Chef👍🏻 and the beers were all delicious too, I didn't leave hungry or thirsty.Haha The staff are kind and such good people and so are all the locals that I met. In fact one of the locals showed me his Classic Ford Falcon in the carpark and revved his engine which we all agreed sounded absolutely awesome. They were all happy to have me there and I felt it. Great people make a great atmosphere. I'll go back and see them all again. Thanks to everyone for showing me an awsome first night in Chicago ! You are all the best ! Warmest regards Richard

I called in a takeout order for the Roadhouse burger, cooked medium, which I figured is their namesake. Topped with smoked gouda, and bacon, there was a very thin layer of bbq sauce on the top bun. They also have red onion, lettuce, slices of tomato to put on. The bun is nothing special, so less of a flavor feature and more of a chew that holds it together. I would have preferred more bbq sauce or another smoked ingredient to highlight the flavors. Getting medium-well or well-done might also be a better option. Also, maybe they could offer grilled onion as a standard option on this one. The fries (or chips) on the side were good, even eating them 15 minutes later once I was home and settled. The order was ready when I got there 20 minutes later. As suspected, I was the only one wearing a mask in the place, including staff, but they did have hand sanitizer by the door.

Morrison Road House in Niles is far from serving ordinary bar food – everything on the menu is truly exceptional! From the Steak sandwich to Burgers and Wraps, each dish I've tried in the past has been not just delicious, but outstandingly so. The portion sizes are generous and satisfying. On this occasion, I opted for the Cajun Chicken sandwich, and it took the experience to the next level. What adds to the greatness of this place are our servers, Amanda and Jessica. They are truly fantastic at their job – attentive, friendly, and highly professional, often adding a touch of humor to their service. If you're in search of a local neighborhood bar that serves excellent comfort food, I highly recommend Morrison Road House. It's a gem that's not to be missed!

The bouncer is a lying egotistical prick and treats customers horribly! I came here on 30Oct2010 to celebrate the life of a fallen soldier (I wasnt there for the halloween party). As I was walking in the bouncer put his hands on me and pushed me out the door (im a tiny guy n was no threat for him to be hostile). He said I was not wearing a halloween costume so I wasnt allowed in. But then I saw him letting many others in without costumes. So confused and not understanding why this was happening, I called my friend that was in there to tell the bartender (whom I've known for years), and see why I was being mistreated. Apparently, the bartender claimed I was drinking alcohol on the parking lot in my car before I went in. This was completely untrue, and is against my character! I actually was drinking something though...a sugar free redbull, because I got off a 9 hour workshift before I headed to Morrisons. So I sat in my car on the lot for about an hour waiting for him to call the cops on me for drinking in my car, just so the cops would search me, maybe gove me an alcohol breathalize, and ultimately prove the jerk wrong. Unfortunately the prick never called the cops so I ended up leaving, and will never forget the horrible mistreatment from that big headed bouncer. Nevertheless, he put his hands on me, and then lied to my face about why I wasnt allowed in, I felt almost racially profiled! But actually I found out a while after that this has happened to someone else, but a girl. So if you want to be treated like crap, this is the...

Good food and great menu. Very friendly servers and bartenders. Will definitely return to this place in the future.

Update: While I usually go here in the afternoon, the above review is correct. But I went here for dinner yesterday and must say I wasn't pleased with the evening staff. I commented that I thought she was the only bartender and was really busy. She proceeded to tell me "No, there are two bartenders". The other bartender look more like a server because I never saw her serve anybody at the bar, only the tables. And our bartender made her drinks for her at the service area. Our bartender also said, rudely, to me "In case you haven't heard, businesses are having a hard time finding employees". I am totally aware of this and was merely stating that I thought she should have help behind the bar. All of that aside, my Burger was one of the best I've ever tasted. Also, it appears that they have raised there prices on their food, and also charge 15% more on your bill because of inflation. The 15% more would be ok if they hadn't raised the prices too.

I have another update. Oct. 2022 Be aware. When you get your bill there is a "Market price adj" charge on it. My adjustment charge was 17.5%. It used to be 15%. Are we still expected to give a 20% tip? I say, just put the correct price on the menu. I wasn't aware of this charge when I placed my order. I don't think I'll be returning to this place...

Had wings to start. They were just okay. Have had awesome wings, not here though, and I wouldn't include these among them.. Not a lot of meat and I think they were over sauced. Decent beer selection to chose from but that is expected when you are at a bar. Wait staff were friendly though a little slow. Proceeded to have a burger and my wife had the "brisket" with Guiness au jus. First it wasn't brisket second the bun was stale or just didn't taste very good. Brisket was actually roast beef a little thicker cut than an Italian beef. My burger came and there was no lettuce or tomatoes on it. Even though it clearly said that they come with it on the menu the waitress said that I needed to ask for them if I wanted them. I felt they should have asked me if I wanted them as it was not clear that I needed to request them. Burger it self was good. Bun okay. Grilled onions tasted like they pulled them from the French onion soup. So it was just okay. I'll give it another try in a few weeks worth a...
