Ooouu! And they have a drive-thru too! Literally that was what my thought was as I was driving down Touhy preparing to enter the parking lot of this Starbucks. I visited in support of Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry supported businesses. Had two other locations to choose from near where I frequent, but this one was slightly on my route near Edens Expressway which I drive regularly.
On top of this location having a drive-thru it comes with an ample amount of parking along with that new trendy exterior and interior design. Nonetheless, it is your typical noisy Starbucks environment yet with that intimate like appearance for socializing.
Now as for my order, I ordered a grande white chocolate mocha with the ham, cheddar & peppers sous vide egg bites which the bites are inspired by the classic Denver omelet. My regret was that I did not purchase two orders because one order sure was not filling. Comparing it to putting gas in my car versus food in my belly, I say it was like putting $5 in a $20 tank aka my belly. One order did no justice, but they sure were cute!
Dining in allowed me to get a feel of the restaurant as well as re-channeling some of the memories I had in the past while at Starbucks studying for college courses. When I was not studying or writing in my blog I did not mind the noisy environment filled with chatter and espresso machines, but I used to drown it out with my own music wearing headphones while studying. Starbucks seems to be where all of the social butterflies go for meet-up or to work; making me personally feel anti-social in comparison to every one else, but anyway I'm done ranting.
The service I received was nothing less than great at this location; the drink and food was served in a reasonable time frame which is all I can ask for.
In closing, I would gladly return if I needed that pick-me-up that I typically get from Starbucks drinks, yet always regretting later in the evening when I cannot sleep - shaking my...
Read moreHonest review: This place use to be my favorite spot since it's near my home. Today at 12:45 I ordered a breakfast swiss ham and cheese sandwich, I took a bite and proceeded to take my whole sandwich out of the bag and noticed the other end had a bite already on it. This is extremely disgusting and horrible. The people who work on monday in the evenings around 12 should be watched. People please be aware your food might be contaminated especially with corona going around no one has time for that. I instantly contacted Starbucks support hopefully they do something. Be safe everyone!

Read moreDisappointing Customer Experience
I’ve been a loyal customer at this Starbucks location for the past 2-3 years, frequently stopping by for coffee and working on weekends. I’ve always appreciated the convenience and environment—until today.
During a casual and polite conversation with an employee, I simply offered a friendly compliment and asked about their role. Unfortunately, my words were completely misinterpreted, and the store manager later approached me, making unwarranted assumptions about my intentions.
As a business owner managing over 200 employees, I understand the importance of workplace professionalism and boundaries. However, this experience made me feel unfairly judged as if my presence was unwelcome despite being a regular customer.
I hope Starbucks fosters an environment that encourages better communication and professionalism instead of making assumptions about loyal customers who have supported their...
