Has gone down hill since the last time I was there. I spent many of my days and nights there as a teenager. Recently stopped in as I was traveling through wv and ordered 3 peppi biscuits, which were great. My only complaint was Gino's next door. I ordered a pubwich to go and it was like I ordered a hand made rocket ship to be made out of bread and cheese. Before I even ordered, a lady behind the counter started handing me food. I told her I haven't even ordered yet. She then proceeds to take my order but is obviously perplexed by the complexity of a pubwich. As I am waiting on my order, the same individual asks to take my order 3 additional times and proceeded to try to hand me yet another person's order. Keep in mind I am the only person in the restaurant. Seeing my presence is causing a distraction I proceed back to Tudors to enjoy one on my peppi biscuits. I spent 20 mins, savoring a memory from my youth and allowing Gino's ample time to prepare my pubwich to go. Exhausted and needing to be back on the road I proceed back to Gino's to pick up my order. While waiting at the counter the same lady hands me two pizza boxes. Keep in mind I am still the only person in the building. I again tell her I only ordered a pubwich to go. She said ok and then proceed to ring me up again for a pubwich. I politely tell her I have already ordered and paid and would just like to have my sandwich so I can continue my drive. This obviously overwhelmed her and she began frantically looking for a pubwich. Noticing where she had placed my ticket before I pointed out to her that it seems my order hasn't even been started. Seeing the ticket but still confused she began to make my pubwich and 20 minutes later I am on the road. It was nice to see my old hang out but even in my youth I didn't spend that much time in that place on a...
Read moreI had heard so much about this place on social media, so I told myself that if I ever came close to one, I would try it out. After my delivery, there just so happened to be one across the street. So I went over to get breakfast. I got the classic platter, sausage biscuit, and large hash rounds for a total of $12.71. In my opinion, this was an absolute letdown. The biscuit was hard and not soft and fluffy as I had expected. The hash rounds were not crunchy like how most are. It's like they sat in grease too long or something. I did have to drive 15 minutes to go park so maybe this is the type of food that has to be eaten right away. The sausage didn't even have the sausage taste like most other places. I did absolutely love the fact I could select how I wanted my eggs cooked. Overall, I feel like hardees is a much better option. Would pay roughly the same for what I got here, and their biscuits are nice and fluffy (on most occasions, lol). First impressions are everything. Unfortunately, I won't go out my way to try this...
Read moreHaving heard about Tudor's Biscuit World, my husband was excited to go when he saw the sign on I75 and wecwerevclose to the exit. It is a very short way from the exit ramp. There are so many choices it was difficult to decide. We were traveling and it was about 1:00pm. The customers stream was steady with several regulars stopping in. Dinners come with two sides and the largest biscuit I have seen. I was torn between a Pulled Pork Sandwich and what I chose, Baked Steak Dinner. (It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, I substituted greenbeans, and had baked apples for the second side. My husband chose Roast Beef Sandwich dinner with Mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. We both had unsweet tea to drink. We ordered at the counter, beverages are self serve and the food was brought to our table. Service was fast and the food was hot. The portions were generous and tasty. We were so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures. I will definitely get pulled pork the next time we are near a Todor's...
