I want to start by saying that we love the food here but the past couple of times we have had issues. When we ordered a few months ago we were shorted a couple of wings but the loaded tots were amazing. We just figured the wings were an oversight so we didn't call. Tonight when we ordered we were told our total was $32 and some change. When I got there to pick up there was only one young guy taking care of the carry-out orders. There were multiple orders lined up ready for pick-up and multiple people waiting for their food. The young guy asked my name and I gave it to him. He told me the total and took my money and food and walked away. He was gone for a while and when he came back he sat my food down on a table and told me he had my change. When I walked over to him he counted back all of the money I gave him (he made change of my two 20's that I gave him to pay). He was confused by me saying I wanted change back from the $40. He handed me all of my money and walked away. Being the honest person that I am I counted my total out and left it on the table. The total at pick up was $6 less than what I was originally told, which is fine by me! I double checked my bag and made sure all of my food was there and it was. When I got home we noticed our full order of loaded tots had a very small amount of cheese and bacon and the tots barely covered the bottom of the container. We also ordered 24 boneless wings, we had all 24 this time, but there was not much sauce on them. We are used to them swimming in the sauce and these were pretty much only coated on one side of the wing. I am hoping this is just a understaffed or newbie employee issues. We will order again but hoping...
Read moreEdit: Leaving my original review comment, but we've attempted a few more tries here and the issues I had seem to have been addressed more. There is still a strong local vibe, but the bartender is friendly, outgoing and seems like a great guy.
The bar fills up, so if you can't sit there I'm not sure what kindof luck you might have, but trending much better! My wife and I have been going here for a few years now, used to really enjoy it but lately it’s gotten worse. The food quality has declined. There are definite “locals” the staff cares more about than regular customers. Several times we’ve sat in the bar area and waited where more familiar patrons are taken care of first (some arriving minutes later). Recently we sat directly at the bar for 20 minutes, watched a lady walk in and get served “her usual” and then the bartender walked past us to refill drinks to a more rowdy crowd at the end of the bar. Literally felt invisible. We’ve also ALWAYS tipped at least 25% and never have voiced any complaint while there.
So if you are a local to the area who likes getting over-served, this could be a great place to go! Otherwise plenty of better places to hang out and actually get someone to serve you...
Read moreUPDATE (21.02.18): Went again today because of the response from the store below. Well, needless to say a 20 piece McNuggets ($5) are a better value than 50 of these for $35. Sizes are inconsistent and I've posted another 2 images to demonstrate. When my family first started going to Wings Etc years ago, we would always receive wings twice these sizes or bigger. I guess things have changed since then and even in the past 3 months of us going.
When I first started going here in the midst of the pandemic, I always appreciated the size and quantity of the boneless wings I ordered. Sure we would order 50 wings, but we would occasionally get more because some were smaller than normal.
As time passed, this became less and less likely and the wing sizes shrank more and more frequently. I'm posting a picture of my most recent order which was rather pathetic in size. Nearly 1/3rd of the 50 wings were slightly bigger than a quarter.
Here I though BW3s was bad, but the quality at this Wings Etc. is definitely getting worse over time. I'll give them another shot before I...
