So, this is going to be a little lengthy, but here it goes. I went in with some of my managers for our monthly manager's meeting. Everyone went around and ordered appropriately, everything was going just fine. I ordered the lamb burger, don't typically, but I thought hey, why not? Food arrives and I take the first bite, all good, second bite, I literally about cracked my tooth in half on something, it hurt the entire day, I actually thought that I did crack my tooth. Well, turns out it was a pit from one of the olives used in the olive tapenade that they didn't de-pit well enough (if that's a word). Anyways, I stop the waitress and tell her, her response was "ya, sometimes they miss 'em in the kitchen". I go about my business, assuming she will just do the right thing and take mine off or something, she does absolutely nothing. I was pretty bummed, as I've been to some Bru Burger restaurants in the area, and I really wanted to like this one, as it's the closest to my house. So, not wanting to just sting them with a bad review I thought that I'd call in and tell the acting manager, Craig, about my experience, and see what he would say. He honestly could have just brushed me off, figuring I was just trying to get a free meal. I actually sent him a screenshot of my receipt to prove that I actually did come there. Craig was really great, he reacted similarly, not really sure why she would have just made an excuse, then walked away. He said he would make it right, and boy did he. He sent me a personalized thank you note along with a $20 and a $50 gift card to try them again. We will be back many times to come because of this. THIS IS HOW YOU DO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We need more businesses like this...
Read moreUpdate: changing my stars from two to five stars now. The manager Staci reached out to me this morning and wanted to get my feed back about my last experience at their restaurant. I explained what happened and she just wanted to make things right. Staci asked me could we come back to visit the restaurant today. I said yes later this evening and I told her the time we will be arriving. She took my order and said it will be fresh and hot when you arrive. Everything is on us. Just like she said earlier, our food was hot and delicious! Thank you Staci for going over and beyond in handling our previous experience with an over the top experience. You Rock Staci!👍We will be back and all the food was GREAT.
The vegan burger was delicious! But I had to wait for almost an hour to get my food after placing curbside order stated pickup in 25 min. On top of that my food was made incorrectly and it was not hot food. So I took it back and the host said she will replace all of it. The manager would not come out to greet me or say sorry after all of this. Unprofessional for sure and excuses by host for kitchen mistake. Before leaving out the door some kid said I will take care of your bill and handed me a copy. I said thanks! After we got done eating our food I looked down at the receipt they had charged me double on my receipt like $56.50 for two byo vegan burgers. I didn't even complain about it since they said they would take care...
Read moreAttempted this new location twice because we’ve “heard” great things about Bru Burger in general. First trial run was mediocre. Had a decent size party and I understand that can make for a longer wait. We were there at 5:00 so it wasn’t too busy and there wasn't a wait. Drinks took 10 minutes and food took 40 minutes. Ordered wings. Chicken was dry and slopped with sauce on top. Several drink orders were wrong. From peers the burgers were just “plain tasting” and didn’t follow through with the hype of Bru “Burger”. Server seemed flustered and unprofessional right from the get go. Things happen I get it. Overall atmosphere was nice though. We like the outdoor seating availability and the large bar.
Second trial run we found two seats at the bar. It was clean and cleared. People to our left had drinks and people to our right had menus but no drinks. We sat for close to 8 minutes without any service or acknowledgement to us or to the people around us. There were 3 people behind the bar where we were at and several employees passed by in the bar area without even a “hello” or “we’ll be right with you.” They actually all turned the same way with their backs to us so it seemed intentional. Again, it didn’t seem to be super busy. Several tables were still available and several seats at the bar were still open.
Third trial run won’t happen. We tried. You failed. We’re good on a Bru Burger in...
