Ordered 3 different hero’s and they were all amazing. Owner was super friendly and working extremely hard with his staff being short. Constantly slicing and making sandwiches non stop for the 45 minutes I was there. Even sliced up some deli meat for everyone to snack on while they waited. Would come back and wait all over again.
These reviews speaking on the owner drinking coffee and not doing anything is ridiculous. In the 45 minutes I was there the owner took 1 sip of coffee and even called someone to come in and help make chicken cutlets. Other than that non stop slicing and prepping. To say he wasn’t hustling is insane.
If you want to be pampered every second while you wait for food and while you eat then hire chef at home. The owner is hospitable and assured everyone on a regular basis they’d get the food out to us and even informed everyone who came in that it would be a long wait. Stopped in for lunch on their Grand Opening and the line was out the door. Definitely have to be patient as they’re working out the small details, but I can already tell this place is going to make it. It’ll be a well oiled machine in no time.
Picked up two hero’s:
The Chicken Italiano - 10/10 Chicken Cutlet, Prosciutto, Capocollo, Provolone, Roasted Peppers, Lettuce, Balsamic Glaze
The Chicken Pesto Caprese - 10/10 Chicken Cutlet, Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil Pesto, Arugula, Balsamic Glaze
The fresh toasted bread, cutlets, mozzarella, the quality is top notch! 🤌
They’ve also got a few other items to check out like Macaroni Salad, Sausage Links, and a couple desserts including Tiramisu and Rainbow Cookies! I already can’t wait to go back and try a breakfast sandwich. 🤣
Thanks again Hal & Team for the hospitality, I’ll see you again...
Read moreNew sandwich shop to the area and was totally satisfied. The bread for their Hero sandwich was fresh and had a nice crunch to it. I tried the New Yorker and my wife had the Little Italy. Both of them were delicious and left us very full.
Went in at 1115 and there was a line, but in my opinion it was wort it. The manager who was slicing meat as fast as he could was interactive and greeted as many of the customers as he could. For the restaurant being opened for one week and the amount of the customers they were serving, the crew cranked out sandwiches as quickly as they could. Contrary to a review posted earlier today, the lady had no issues ringing us up at the register.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious authentic...
