McDonald's — Restaurant in Nogales

While I know customer service expectations should be low at fast food restaurants, it is completely disheartening the lack of empathy these employees have towards their customers. My mother had an awful experience here. Her phone got stolen at the restaurant. We know this for a fact because when she called trying to locate it, someone picked up and confirmed the device was in this location. When she returned to look for the phone, the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. They showed her a completely different phone that was damaged and insisted it was hers even when she clarified it was not. Rather than checking security footage or at the bare minimum, showing basic human concern they acted like helping her was a complete inconvenience. I will never return to this McDonald’s, and I will shout it from the rooftops to all the people I know to be careful with this location. It's not just this place! The mobile order system's supposed efficiencies have yet to be realized. The latest failure did happen here. I placed a simple order for 2 fish sandwiches. I was just around the corner so I cheated and told them I was there and guessed at curbside number. (In the future I will use the drive through option). I found the only pick up location which was for the curbside not mobile orders and waited over ten minutes. They say 5 and the drive through was not busy until i gave up and decided to go through the drive through so I could holler at someone about my order. Speaking into the faceless wall did no good nor did talking to the money taker.
