Denny's — Restaurant in Norco

I do not like to give bad reviews but service was definitely NOT up to standard. The moment we sat down. Our server got upset because we where not ready to order. We where waiting for the menus and he looked upset and asked us why we hadn't scanned the barcode on the table. We told him we did not know since they usually bring a paper menu and it was better for my parents to use the paper menus. He said it was the same thing on the barcode but he will bring a menu as well! Later when my dad was fished ordering and he was trying to give the paper menu back to the waiter. He looked at my dad weird and told him . We don't re-use paper menus! We told him we new and we thought he would just take it away from it table since we fished ordering! He just looked like he did not want to be there because There was not too many people and it took over 40mins for our food to get here and he would also not check up on us. The girl who was refilling our coffee was the one helping us more then our waiter. Only towards the end when he wanted to get his tip is when he started asking if we needed...

Wow I don't even know where to start. My 55th birthday, so I tell my wife I want to start at Dennys for breakfast. I order grand slam w biscuits and gravy over easy eggs and sausage. I also ordered from the 55+ menu chicken fried steak. Simple enough. After a long while, they bring out the biscuits and gravy and the sausage and egg and the salmon I did not order. I informed them that was not what I ordered and they took the food away to make the correct dish. Meanwhile, they are letting the rest of the food get cold as we wait another 20 minutes for the correct meal. They finally deliver the food and rush off....leaving us without silverware...waited so long for them to check back, that I had to get up and walk behind the counter to get my own silverware.

My wife ordered a fried cheese sandwich that was to have marinara, but nope. Just a sad little dry cheese sandwich.

So we went to pay, and their credit card machine didn't work; thanks to my wife, she had cash.

World's worse birthday so far.

I gave this Dennis a another try after a bad experience, I went there for Dinner, the server was pretty rude, you can tell she is not happy to be there, manager needs to pay attention to that, rude people shouldn't be, interacting with the public mostly at restaurants. I had a gift card, I intended to pay with, the card reader didn't take it, the same server (a black lady) rudely state that the card was not working, I know, when that happens they have to punch the numbers if the card manually, after I tried again, she told me that she couldn't help me, and she couldn't do nothing about it, we insinuated that it had to be done manually, she responded that only managers can do that, she didn't even bother to call a manager. I paid with my credit card, I went to another location, the lady right away did the transaction manually and everything was fine. Never again will step a foot in this restaurants, unhappy people serving your food, that's a recipe...
