Badlands BBQ — Restaurant in Norco

Earlier this evening we decided to have dinner here with our family the Server/ manager Alexus approached our table rushing us for our drinks. She then proceeded to tap my 11 year son on his baseball hat, because he didn’t answer her fast enough! The first problem we had was how she asked us how we wanted our bill split. I told her and then with frustration she answered “I’ll just put it on one check”! (Okay, so why even ask) she took our food order and our other tables order and she never came back. Other servers delivered our food, without her checking on us, the food that I ordered never arrived and was forgotten, as I waited patiently, We also ordered alcoholic beverages which she failed to card us, So if anyone is looking to go to a place and not be carded this is the place!!! She Also told us we weren’t allowed to have any service animasl in the restaurant deflecting from her mistakes Papers and all she insisted She made us feel like the food we received was a baked potato and is was a mashed potato wrapped in foil She also grabbed my sister n laws arm after continuously telling her that the baked potato wasn’t a baked patato it was mashed potato in foil... All she offered after all this was to take the potato off the bill No customer service skills at all. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE MANAGER ALEXUS W. And the only reason why she came back to our tables was because we asked another server who was very helpful and friendly for our check, after I had informed her of all the mistakes, She then updated our main server who came back to pretty much dispute everything with us She had rudely apologized...Never...

So I've heard amazing things about this place and was so excited to try it. We ordered two three combo plates trying the pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage. All the meat was dry and overcooked. The sides weren't impressive either. The potatoe salad tasted like stater brothers. Mashed potatoes were watered down. The Mac n cheese was soggy pasta but the baked beans were good for a fast food place. The cornbread was dry and made you want to down your beverage. The bbq sauce, normal and spicy, were actually pretty good. We also tried the bacon candy which was a HUGE disappointment as I only took one bite and knew I wasted $7.50 as I would be throwing it directly on the garbage. The best part about this place was their beer selection in all honesty. Food wise the sausage was the best but they don't make it there just bbq it there so all in all we were VERY disappointed. Our bill was over $70 and we could have had a amazing steak dinner for that price. I've heard SO many good things about this place but I just can't see myself going back. The 3 platter plate started at $22 but with adding certain meats make them about $25. I'll personally be saving my money from here on out and continue my search for a...

This was my first time coming to this place and it'll be my last. I ordered ahead of time to avoid any wait. They have one line for ordering and one for pickup. Naturally I went to the pick up line, which only had one gentleman in front of me. After he was assisted the cashier completely ignored me and started taking customers from the order line. I didn't say anything at first but after 2 customers I spoke up. All she said was, "what's your name." I gave it to her and she gave me my total, $17.20. I hand her a $20 bill and a quarter, she then snatches it out of my hand, causing the quarter to fall and never apologizes or says a word. She grabs my food, hands it to me and doesn't say thank you or you're welcome after I say thank you, just walks away. After I leave I call back to speak to a manager (because I didn't want to cause a scene) and I'm told he's busy with a catering order and can't take my call. I will never come to this place again and will tell everyone who will listen how horrible their customer service is. I wish I would've snatched my money back and never gave it to this...
