I've never had a bad experience at Arby's.... So this is honestly my worst experience with them.
In the 45 minutes it took me to order, get my food and eat, I witnessed 3 other customers besides myslef who all had something wrong with their order. The manager on duty each time would argue with the customer instead of correcting the error. For example I ordered a sandwich and added bacon and cheddar sauce. I unwrapped my sandwich and half of the cheddar sauce is in the wrapper (which is normal) but I had no bacon on my sandwich. I took it back and told the manager it was supposed to have bacon on it and she told me that they "only have regular bacon" like that is supposed to solve the absence of bacon on my sandwich that I paid 79 cents for. Eventually she took it back and added 1 single strip of bacon to the sandwich and replaced the wrapper.... Without adding more cheddar sauce to compensate for the half portion that was on the old wrapper.
Each interaction the manager would have with customer complaints was the same. 4 out of 5 consecutive dine in customers had issues with their food and each time the managers response was sub par. Read moreToday, I visited Arby's drive-thru to place an order. Since I don't frequent Arby's, I took a little time (less than 3 minutes) to decide on my order. I politely asked for a moment to decide, but the customer service representative, a young lady named "BRIT," was extremely rude and impatient from the start.
When I inquired about the prices, I could hear her getting noticeably agitated. I then asked what types of lemonades they offer, and instead of responding politely, she said she couldn't hear me and asked me to pull up to the window. When I tried to confirm my order at the window, she again claimed she couldn't hear me, this time with an irritated tone. Before I could even respond, she abruptly shut the window in my face.
Another employee came to the window, and I requested to cancel my order. I got BRIT's name and left, thanking them out of politeness, although none was deserved. While I understand the stress of working in a busy environment, it does not justify the rude, arrogant, and disrespectful behavior I experienced. We bought 5 classic roast beef sandwiches, 2 orders of their new loaded chicken bacon ranch mac n cheese (one had no ranch), 1 crispy chicken club wrap with no onion and mustard and 2 large crinkle fries. We live maybe a 5 to 7 minute drive away and we went straight home from the restaurant. The roast beef sandwiches were what we expected and tasted good. The large crinkle fries were disappointing because I would not have called them a "large". To me, there was not enough fries and they were on the cold side. The mac n cheese was not good at all. The portion was small for the price. It was super thick, it was almost like a clump of mac n cheese, not enough sauce in my opinion and we didn't care for the taste. The wrap seemed old.. the bread itself seemed old and was broken up when I went to eat it which made it messy. The tomato kept falling out and the chicken was on the harder side. We were definitely not impressed and we were upset considering how much we spent. In total we spent about $50. We haven't decided on whether or not we will try...
