PHOTOS ATTACHED!! My friends and I stayed her back in July for a concert and I had an issue with the hotel from the moment we got to the room. First of all we booked for a non-smoking room and the moment we walked in to the room is smelled of stale smoke and it felt extremely humid to the point that I could not tell if the bedding was cold or damp (spoiler: it wasn't cold). Seeing as though we got in the day of the concert, we decided to address these issues later and get ready for our show. As we were getting ready we noticed that the bathroom and vanity area still had dirt and stains that shows it wasn’t cleaned properly. Simple things, because we brought our own cleaning products and decided to wipe it away, since we are only staying there for 2 nights. We tried to power through it. The concert went well and we came back to the horrible smell again even after leaving the AC on and tried to clear it out before going to bed since we got back super late and we were exhausted. BIG MISTAKE! The next morning the 3 of us woke up and felt everything damp. I don’t know why they have such a bad problem regulation the air in the room but it was our last day and we had plans to be out all day so we rushed an left. At this point I knew I was at least going to give a 2-star review. What made it drop it to a 1 star that would be a 0 star if they let me, was coming back the final night. Again this is only night 2 and we leave in the morning to drive home. When we left we always make sure to lock the room and secure our belongings not left out. HOWEVER…when we got back to the room and I was getting ready to shower I went to pick up my slides and noticed that was some fluid in them. Thinking it was something with the humidity issue, and it being 3 am and I’m deliriously tired, my mind didn’t think anything of it of it until I realized that NOTHING ELSE WAS WET! What made it worse is when I brought it to the attention of my friends I, at the same time, looked at my other shoe to see POOP IN THEM! We did not travel with any animals. We did not have any animals around us the whole trip. WHY WAS THERE DOG PEE AND POOP IN MY SHOES IN A CLOSED ROOM?!?!? That was the final straw and we packed our stuff and went and brought it to the attention of the person at the front desk. Again since it was 3am she mentioned there was not much she can do at this moment. She asked if we were sure of what we saw and when we brought her to the room to show her, she herself was shocked. We informed her that we have not been there all day and we do not have any pets with us that would leave those remains behind (otherwise I wouldn’t complain to the front desk!!) She promised to check the cameras and in the mean time put us in another room so we don’t have to sleep there. When we got to the new room IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONE WE WERE IN! No smell, no dampness, no stains, or messes!! We left the next day with a promise that they would get back to us and in November we are still waiting to hear anything which at this point I don’t think we will. They never even offered to compensate me for my shoes that were ruined. I will NEVER suggest anyone stay here at all!! The rooms are dirty, we barely saw any staff there, and getting in touch with anyone afterwards is impossible. 11/17/24 UPDATE: 2 weeks later and no one has reached out like the reply said they would 1/27/25: ANOTHER UPDATE I still have not heard back from anyone at the hotel concerning my visit there 5/13/25: If they every say they will get back to you, they dont. It's been almost a year and still have not hear anything about our horrible stay

A gem; still. Details: I spent two nights here 12.22-12.24.24. *I stayed here once over a decade ago. I only recall not having an issue or being overly disgusted. Staff: Polite. Accommodated request (change for laundry, wake up call, extended a day). Courteous, said I could have more towels if I need them. Rooms: Has been updated since I last stayed here; more modern. Hopefully I have photos and didn’t delete them yet. I read reviews before I visit 90% of the time so I know what to expect. I will say towels are bright white but this is a 2 star hotel. They had more towels in the room than some of the more popular or mainstream chains. Probably 4 large, 4 medium, and 4 face cloths and they still do old school towel garnishing. Small towels are in a feather inside medium towels that overlap large towels. They let you know they serviced the toilet paper since last checkout with a tool that resembles a notary seal; folded and stamped. The soap smelled good for 2 star, I note this because I threw my bar away at the last hotel so didn’t have my own. Large flat screen. Colorful chair with foot rest. Blinds are a nice touch and the windows open if you like to blend inside and outside air. There isn’t breakfast but places that serve breakfast nearby. The lobby has complimentary coffee. There’s on site laundry; I thought it was cool that it was outside but others may not. There’s a pool, that although to cold to use compliments the landscape. Plenty parking. I like to park far away from the room I’m in or on the opposite side of the building. It’s quiet. I saw a couple people that you wouldn’t want to see staying in the same hotel as you but that’s everywhere today. You can find lowlifes either dropping in or living out of hotel rooms long term paying less a night than the guest who don’t occupy the space regularly. Something that warmed my heart….because I love to grill…..and enjoy my own cooking. They have grills! Originally I planned to use one than decided against. Remember I don’t like people and grilling in a public place just welcomes random approaches; small talk. No bugs during my stay; it meant everything! I deleted the photos but took some screenshots from the video I had left. Location: I use to live in Indian Trail Apartments down the street. There’s places to eat and shop. For blocks and blocks lots of plazas. Jimmy Carter is nearby. Two gas stations in walking distance if you enjoy to walk while visiting, like myself, but not as much these days since I’m accompanied by my German Shepherd. Lots of Hispanics if you don’t mind that sort of thing. Walmart super center nearby. What I didn’t like is the desk didn’t want to reveal to me the nightly rate when I extended and referenced the third party I used; recommending I’d get the lowest price there. I wanted the rate because I have AAA, AARP, and am a Veteran these are all discounts third party won’t recognize or doesn’t apply because their rates are supposedly already discounted. However this particular hotel is not part of any chain or rewards program so there’s nothing lost on that end. If I weren’t putting many fires I would have schooled him then. For example tonight some have the room listed for $51 in which they’ll apply $20-30 of taxes. So you’ll pay with a third party $71-75. Unless you have a valid discount. I have AAA, AARP, and am a Veteran. 10% always counts. And this was deleted so that I’d reword this.

Let me just start this review off by saying I've been booking hotels for many years and have stayed in 2-star hotels before for quick stays for concerts or whatever, but never in any of those experiences, have I come across anything close to the horrific time I had at Brick lodge Atlanta/Norcross. First of all, I asked for a non-smoker room but the moment I stepped foot in the room, it reeked of stale cigarette smoke. I didn't complain because it's cheap and i only needed it for 2 nights. Next, I noticed the room was DIRTY (walls and bathroom door mostly) and it's not a big room so I felt like every time I walked, the walls were touching my skin and made me feel gross (especially after my shower, ew) but I didn't complain. Then, it got time to sleep and I noticed the sheets and comforter felt damp like their wasn't proper air conditioning throughout the room. Still, I went off to bed and prepared for the next day. The next day was THE WORST day. We went out in the morning (keep in mind, we double checked to make sure our room door was locked because we are women and are always paranoid of...well, everything) and had a nice time out in GA with some friends only to come back to the hotel and discover one of the most bizarre things I've EVER witnessed...literal animal droppings (potentially a dog, especially since we've seen someone there with their dog walking him when we first arrived there) in my friend's (she was staying in the room with us) shoes. Neither of us own a dog nor did we bring one with us to the hotel (Our theory is someone came into the room and if they weren't one of the staff then it was someone who assumed it was their room, had their dog and it dropped its turds and by then the person realized it wasn't their room and left. Also, just to add, nothing was missing from our room so it wasn't a theft ordeal or anything). Mortified, we immediately (after taking pictures of the fresh animal droppings in (not under her shoe like she had stepped in it, please see photo attached-photo shows after she grabbed shoe to get a better look of what it was and it dropped it carpet) called the hotel staff up front and asked them to come investigate because this is just disgusting and unsanitary and there was NO way we were sleeping in there even after they 'clean' it. So they promised to check the cameras and gave us another room, which we appreciated because that's all they could do for the time being. (The new room was 1000% better and we were disappointed that it wasn't our initial room because maybe we'd escape our property being soiled...literally) Still to this day, they promised to get back to me in regards to the incident after reviewing the cameras but I have yet to hear from them. In conclusion, I wish I can rate them a 0 but that's not an option, and the staff were nice about it. So they will remain a 1 star rating hotel in my books and one I will NEVER go to again.

And this was deleted so that I’d...

My 3 night paid in full by my bwst friend who got me a hotel for the weekend to be alone and reduce all my stress turned into the worst weekend of my life ever leaving my house at this hotel. When I first got to the hotel the young latio lady at the front desk refused me the key that my bestie left for me to pick up with specific instructions of my name clearly in the computer and directions to have the key given to me. She gave me attitude and refused to even talk to my friend on the ☎. After leaving to go sit in my car for 5 minutes, I got a call from my friend saying that i could go get the 🔑. When i went back i was super chill and calm didnt say anything or was my demenour rude or offensive and the women would not even speak to me. Then when I got to my wonderful room number 239, on the middle floor by the steps, I was hit with a foul dirty water smell. Then after my first night staying at the room I had noticed my arm starting to appear as if i had a rash or something from possibly my bra straps or just the shirt I had slept in that night. Time went by and i lounged in the bad for most of the day and I started to itch more and saw clusters of red welps forming all over my neck, back, shoulders and arms. I was unsure of day to check out on my third day (( I am completely covered with huge red clusterd welps that match the exact descriptions to the online pictures and symptoms of bed bugs )) the maintence called to tell me i was tl check out 45 mins ago and i needed to pack my things to get out of the room and that they usually charge a late check out fee for after the allowed check out time at 11 am. The time was 11:45 am. He asked if I could be out of the room with my things by 12 15 pm and I said I am waiting on my ride and asked for a hour tops. He then told me that he wanted me out by 12 15 and that I didnt have a option to be charged to check out late. When I started quickly throwing my belongings onto bags i noticed what I had been wearing in the bed was open to being bitten by something while lounging in the bed during the weekend. So i called the man at the front office((same dude)) and he told me to just get out of the room and they wpuld come check on it. The man and house keeper showed up to the room as I was throwing everything out the front door. They peeled back the top comforter and straight sheet telling me the only way to see bed bugs is to spot blood spots on the bed and look behind the headboard. I explained to the man that every bit of research I did stated completely differently and they hibernate under the mattresses, floor boards, under boxslrings and they prefer to come out at nighy time. The women and man bluntly and firmly told me no and to get my things and get out. I asked if I could lift the mattress or if they could please lift up the mattress so I can see for myself and they firmlu and aggressivly told me no and get out and demanded the 🔑. I am now standing out front od the hotel a hour later in the freezing clold and have seen not a soul enter the room i was forced from with all my belongings cobered in bed bugs to even have a jacket or sweater to wear while I am waiting on my ride....because of the bed bug infestation in my hotel room. See pics of...
