I saw the commercial for the new Maple Bacon chicken sandwich last night while watching the football game. Decided I would try it out today for lunch, pulled up to the restaurant to be greeted by a drive thru line 8 cars deep. No problem because as stated it was lunch time, so I just decided to run inside. Parked my car and went inside, to be greeted by a line of people and only 1 register operator at 12:30pm. The manager was doing her best to expedite inside and drive thru, and the young lady on the register was dealing with customers quickly and courteously. Once it was my turn to place my order I ordered the new sandwich combo, the register operator asked me did I want home-style, grilled or spicy I replied home-style. She rung in my order and began to tell me my total. Here is where things go down hill. The young lady who was making the sandwiches walks up to the register and tells the cashier " We don't have any home-style, we only have grilled and spicy." She then turned and went back to her station the cashier looked at me apologized and asked me did I want either one. I replied no and left the business. I understand that sometime the demand for a product will devour the supply but I have to wonder with a National advertisement starting on Sunday and today being the first day of the week and the business does not open until 10 how can you possibly be that unprepared. If things are the way they seem to be in most fast food business some sort of inventory is done on Monday so the opening Manager should have been aware of a product shortage and done whatever needed to be done to have product. Telling guests you are out of product is both lazy management and most of all poor customer service. I do not visit this Wendy's very often even though I work walking distance from it and this is mostly due to since the remodel and replacement of the staff and previous management service and food quality have been hit or miss but mostly miss. I will do my best to contact the District Manager of this location as well as the franchise owner, because I'm pretty sure they are unaware of how this place is being run. Thanks for taking the excitement and turning it into...
Read moreThis was a truly disappointing and upsetting experience. I visited this Wendy’s expecting decent service and a fresh meal, but what I got instead was cold food, poor sanitation, and completely unprofessional treatment — especially from the manager, Erica Jones.
At first, I simply asked for a remake because the food was cold. But the attitude I received from Erica was so rude and dismissive that I no longer felt comfortable. At that point, I asked for a refund — and she refused, saying I couldn’t get one because I didn’t have my physical card. I asked if a cash refund could be done instead, and she rudely said no, claiming her GM, Alejandrina, also said no when called. But I know a GM at another Wendy’s who confirmed cash refunds are allowed, so I know I wasn’t being told the full truth.
Erica also refused to give me my receipt, saying she needed to keep it. And while all of this was happening, a young male employee stood there laughing at me, which felt humiliating and completely uncalled for.
To make things worse, I saw open food left out on the counters, which is a serious health concern. It was unclean, unprofessional, and unacceptable — especially for a restaurant serving the public.
I rarely leave reviews, but this situation was beyond anything I’ve experienced. I was calm, respectful, and just wanted either a fresh meal or a fair solution. Instead, I was met with disrespect, poor customer service, and unsanitary conditions. I hope corporate sees this and takes real action, because no one deserves to be...
Read moreIf I could give below 0, I would. Customer service is just awful. I knew something was not right at this location when a few weeks ago, I tried to order at the drive thru and detected rudeness from the worker. It was so bad, I just drove off without completing my order. But today, I decided to give them another try. This time, I made it to the window, unfortunately. The girl working there put ice in my drink when I asked for no ice. Not even a big deal, just pour it out and refill like any sane fast food would do, right? No, she stuck the ice scoop into my cup and began scooping out each ice block, one by one. I told her to toss it out and refill. That is when another worker stepped and started barking "What's the problem?" I explained to him that I wanted my drink poured out and refilled, to which he replied, "We don't waste drinks". He took my drink and poured it back into the fountain. Then he refilled the drink from the same fountain while having a look on his face that he runs things and it's his way or the highway. The manager then came and asked me what the problem was, 3 of them giving such rude, saucy attitudes and stares. At that point, I figured there was no point engaging anymore with them, so I took the drink, drove off, then tossed it away at the nearest trash can. That is my last time going to that Wendy's,...
