I brought 18 students on a church retreat with me to this Chipotle to grab dinner. Everyone was buying their own meal and the restaurant was not crowded. In fact most of the seating was empty. While eating, an employee approached me and asked if I was in charge of this group? I told them I was and asked if there was a problem. She proceeded to tell me that our group was too big and we would have to leave the restaurant. I asked her why? And she said because her manager said so. So I asked to speak to the manager. The manager told me that I did not call ahead to let them know a huge group was coming. I said, ā since when do you need to call ahead for bringing a group to chipotle?ā (I have eaten at Chipotle when the line was out the door) She said, āyou donāt.ā So I asked her again, why do we need to leave? She then told me that they would have to clean up too many tables afterwards. I looked at her, and said, āso your telling me your employees donāt want to do their job ?ā I told her unless you can give me a good reason, we are not leaving. I can tell she did not like my answer. A couple of their employees also approached a few of the students that were with me in my group and ask them to leave. My group was not being loud, they were not being disrespectful, they were just eating their chipotle and talking quietly. This establishment is not welcoming, their employees are rude, and I will never eat at this establishment again. I have never been so angry with the way we (18 paying customers) weāre treated. Do yourself a favor and send a message to this location. go support other eating establishments. There is a Moeās right across the street, and a Fire House, subs right next-door. I told the Fire House subs person what was going on and they invited me to bring my group into the restaurant. Now that is service!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI arrived at the store just before 10:00 PM, knowing the location closes at 10:30 PM. Upon arrival, I noticed several DoorDash drivers waiting for their orders. Two employees appeared to be sweeping the floor, one young man was preparing online orders, and another was standing around without assisting customers.
Unfortunately, I stood in line for about 10 minutes behind two other guests without any acknowledgment or service. This was especially disappointing because the manager (I believe her name was Kat) made no effort to address or assist the customers waiting in line. The only time she showed concern was when another employee (who was sweeping and working the register) pointed out that there was a lack of productivity among the team. The only engagement was her telling the employee, "I don't care about what you have to say" while the employee (Danielle) spoke up about having to clean, work register AND make the food for the non doordash customers while the other available employee was standing around chit chatting with patrons but not helping the customers waiting in line.
I recommend reviewing any video footage from this evening for further clarity. I understand that itās late in the day and the team may be trying to close, but customers still deserve to be treated respectfully and served in a timely manner until the store officially closes. I would rather someone who did care about employee and customer care treatment manage the location than someone who proudly boasts that they didn't.
Thank you for taking the time to review this. I hope steps can be taken to ensure better customer service and a more professional atmosphere...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor Chipotle at 132 E Little Creek Rd, I'm highly disappointed in a particular part of their service. Normally, when you pay with a credit or debit card, they print out a receipt that doesn't show the card's last 4. I asked the cashier if they could print out another one showing the last 4 on the receipt. The cashier stated that this is the only one that Chipotle issues. I informed the cashier that isn't true and that I have gotten a receipt with the last 4 previously from this exact location. Luckily, the employee who was working on internet/mobile app orders knew where to go to print the receipt showing the last 4. I informed the cashier by saying Thanks. As I was walking out I just happened to look back and see the cashier frowning up at me talking to what may have been the shift leader and I asked why are you getting upset on the customer request for a receipt? Then the shift leader said it's okay and asked for me to leave. What I'm disappointed with is the lack of professional. Some individuals need to have that receipt, possibly for business deductions, or for potential earning opportunities using a receipt application such as Pogo. This is not exclusive to this location. It seems that when a customer does the right thing by asking for a receipt, the cashier/customer service representative just seems to wanna give blowback, and that's not fair. I have no problem taking my hard earned money to other food businesses or competitors such as Qdoba.
Again, not knowing how to print another receipt isn't grounds to talk about customers.
Food was excellent but the receipt scene made my experience today not...
