I close to janaf and work close to wards corner. I usually eat at the Wards Corner store in the afternoons on my way home from work because the customer service is GREAT most of the time and the store I known to be cleaner. Today on my way home stopped in at Wards Corner for my usual Smoke House brisket and right away I noticed that the store looked a mess. I felt rushed by the lady at the register because I wasn't debating if I wanted to get my regular sandwich or try something new and decided to just go with the brisket. After I ordered my food I went to use the restroom and noticed that the lobby only looked worse the further I walked and that the drink machine looked HORRIBLE! so bad that I didn't even get the drink a paid for with my combo! The restroom spelled like urine when I got there so I quickly did what I had to do and was ready to go. My order took longer than usual to get even tho it was only a couple other customers in there, and when I got to my car I found out my bread was already cold and my brisket had onions on it! HIGHLY UPSET but not wanting to cause a scenenand because I to pick my son up from the babysitter.I just removed the the onions and ate the sandwich on cold bread! I don't know who the girl working(short blonde girl)w but her attitude stinks and customer service wasnt much better! I definitely know to go to janaf for now on if I see...
Read moreI don't usually leave bad reviews, unless warranted. I don't usually have any issues with this location. I understand things happen, but to not, at least display basic customer service, & on top of it, not even have manners, after a mistake they made.. is prompting me to leave this review. I placed a phone order for lunch yesterday. The woman who answered the phone took the order, then, without giving me a final total, told me, "10 mins!" I arrived at the location almost 20 minutes later, to assure it's completion. The cashier didn't ask me how she could help me, say, "next", or smile. She just stood there. After I told her I was picking up for myself, not only was my order ready, the woman who took my order joined the transaction conversation, and said that I said 1:00. Which was bogus information. I said that was incorrect. She didn't say anything, had an attitude, turned around and started making a sandwich.The cashier only said, "it'll be a few minutes." They didn't acknowledge me, thereafter. They eventually called my name, didn't apologize, smile, or anything. Then, I was late arriving back to work. Read moreSo this is the first time I've ever had Firehouse Subs. I'd figured it was time to give it a go. I get inside to the local one in my town and try their Italian sub on wheat. It was a little pricey as the price on food has gone up. The days of $5 dollar foot-longs are pretty much gone or of the lesser desired subs and I was in the wrong place for something that was $5 dollars.
The sub was very tasty. I didn't feel like the price of the sub matched the girth of the sub. Could've used a little more meat. Just sayin'.
Would I go back? I probably would, but there weren't too many choices on the board that I would really love to make it back for. Possibly the meatball sub.
