Didn't know it was under new ownership. Bad move. Phoned in my order. Got hung up on once and after calling back to back I finally got an answer and stayed on phone to take the order which I had to repeat multiple times. I showed up to get my order and the lady who I placed the order with did not even make eye contact with me. She just stood there writing something down as I waited for like 5 min. I also did not like the fact that she had an ear bud in her ear. I also work in the server industry and that is a big NO NO. I have my phone on me at all times however my phone remains in my pocket on silent/vibrate so I know if there is a call I need to take/return. I was then spoken to by another gentlemen. Given all new faces on a place I frequented I asked if ownership transferred. He said yes that he was the new owner however all the prior staff had quit after being told they would stay. Can't say I blame them. Trying to pay for separate orders was an ordeal as well as our orders were all pretty much wrong. Food was nowhere close to even tasting the same as before. Really sorry that the owner sold and the staff left as I won't be a frequent flyer anymore. They get one star since they make us...

I usually enjoy Uncle Al’s Hot Dogs the food is always great, and I normally don’t have issues with service. However, today I had a very concerning experience. I witnessed the cook drop a large knife on the floor, then place it back on the counter. Moments later, she attempted to use the same knife to cut food from the grill, which I assumed was for my order. I immediately spoke up and asked her to use a different knife, letting her know I saw the entire situation from start to finish (I stated to the cook that I saw exactly what she did from the moment it happened to the moment she picked the knife up).

Instead of apologizing or addressing the concern properly, the cook became very defensive, loud, and angry, saying she had “wiped it off.” I asked for a refund, and she walked away still upset and raising her voice.

This was not only unprofessional but also a serious food safety issue. As much as I’ve enjoyed this place in the past, this experience left me very disappointed...
