Lew's Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Norfolk

Came here on a whim. Originally I drove 20 minutes away to some other hot dog place called “Famous Uncle Al’s” on N military highway but I got there and there was a closed sign on the door during their normal business hours, go figure. (How unprofessional) Anyway, I found this place on google that was nearby so I came here instead. And it was perfect. Polite employees, awesome food. And their other customers here were very wonderful as well :) All around great place, and great atmosphere. I’m so glad I came here instead of the other place. Next time I will hang out inside and eat :) Thank you so much! I will continue to come here...

The worst food. The hot dog was so hard you couldn't bite it. It was old, over cooked and who knows how long it was on the grill. The fries were tasteless and also looked old. They seemed busy so whats up with the old food. I check out the reviews. It was said to be a place that they knew their customers, so maybe they get the fresh food. It was my first time here and last. Which is sad because I like hotdogs. I paid almost 11 dollars for two hotdogs a order of fries and a fountain drink. Very disappointed. The fact that they only take cash is one thing but reusing old food. Someone needs to check out...

My recent visit to Louise a trip down memory lane. My last visit to luz was 75 cents a hot dog and the young lady running the restaurant was a young girl Who I think was Lou's daughter maybe granddaughter granddaughter but apparently her family have taken over running loose changed it a little bit on the inside made it look a little fancier but the hot dogs and the chili are just is good as the 1st day that Mr. Toomey took me for lunch at lunch at lunch friendly friendly fantastic food great people don't miss an opportunity to try it loose hot dog smoked...
