Underwhelming food, overwhelming environment. Come here to generously donate to the less fortunate or if you need a free meal. There is no in between. Love how, even in the pandemic, where I'm walking up and ordering takeout like it's fast food, I'm still compelled to tip for an order the staff got wrong because they were in "fast food" mode. (Cookout has never messed up my order, yet I came here to support a local business, actually Doumars has never messed up an order of mine either and they've got great prices, delveccios is good too) I got the $5 BELT, (bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato ¿cheese?) which is a simple sandwhich. Comes on white or wheat with a pickle spear (which I didn't get) and I asked the waitress "what does it come with?" She said mayo. I wanted a side of home fries, I got normal fries, which is fine, it's not like I said it wrong the first time and then clarified (I did) but OK, masks make it hard to hear. The fries had no flavor, no salt. Why am I buying cooked food if I have to provide the seasoning? Maybe if I was sitting down then fine, I would season it, but this was takeout. If I was sitting down then maybe they would have asked me how I like my eggs. Maybe they would have asked if I wanted white or wheat bread. Idk, maybe I wouldn't feel cheated after paying $8.50 for fries and an egg sandwich if they hadn't messed up my order and rushed a first time customer. That aside, they could try a little harder, unless having new customers is too much of a challenge for...
Read morePerfectly Frank is a great restaurant that is very reasonably priced and highly efficient and customizable with their options in dog. I appreciate that they recently appeared on WAVY 10 or another local news network and announced that tips would be automatically included in the cost of a meal, as that alone takes a massive load off of customer thoughts and shoulders both. 😄
For my hotdogs, I got hot chili with sour cream and sauerkraut, signature shredded cheese, and a small line of relish, too. 🤩 the sides include freshly cooked onion rings that are perfectly crunchy and delicious and fries so nice that the flavor feels like it punches back a bit 😋 They serve really good portion sizes for the price, and I would recommend it to all my friends on campus next door! Probably the worst experience when eating out is when they put a giant tablet in your face with 3 tips selections of 20%, 30%, and 50% 😵💫 So this spot will now be my go-to just for delicious food and of course less awkward looking away while tapping random spots on a screen and signing "lol"...
Read moreI started coming here about 2 years ago and it’s only gone downhill. Prices used to be very fair and service was excellent, along with that their cheapskate meal was amazing. Double cheeseburger with fries or tots and a Large drink for 12-14$, notice how I said 12-14, completely dependent on who’s ringing you up. Which at the time i had no issue with, just thought it was interesting. Over the course of the last few months i feel as though it’s changed completely, not just price wise. That is my main focus though, it started in that range and slowly went up, 12 to 16 for the same meal. I went there recently and ordered my usual, 17.67. Then the guy behind me ordered the same exact thing with EXTRA items on his meal, 14 dollars. When i asked why the discrepancy I was told that he didn’t order fries with his meal, I then watched him get handed his meal WITH fries. I honestly didn’t know what to say. I will not be going here ever again which honestly makes me sad because I...
