I love to support local businesses and don’t generally write bad reviews, but my experience with this business was so bad that it felt like a scam. I have ordered from them 9 times and have spent a total of $450 at their business. The first 6 orders took almost 2 hours to arrive, but the food was hot and well made so I was ok with waiting for good food if they were a little busy. Then, the 7th time I ordered, it took 2.5 hours and the food didn’t seem very fresh. I kept calling to see where the order was and for 45 minutes they kept telling me the food was on the way. I called one last time and it turned out that they hadn’t even made the food yet. I drove to the store and picked it up myself and talked to Mo, the manager, and he threw in free desert and promised a refund for the trouble. The refund never came through. I decided to give them one last try. I ordered my food at 7pm and the Slice app told me the food would be delivered by 8:12. 8:15 rolled around and so I called the store and I was told it was out for delivery. 8:45 rolls around and I call again and they said the driver was 11 minutes away. (The store is only 18 minutes away from my house). We stood outside and waited. At 9:09 I called the store again and said he still wasn’t there. They called the driver and said “he should be pulling up to you now” and so we waited. At 9:20 the driver pulls up and gives us the food. At this point I was inside and making an alternate dinner for my toddler who was having a meltdown because she was tired and hungry after waiting past her bedtime to eat. We asked the driver when he left the pizza shop and he said 7:25! The ticket printed on the food for delivery said 7:23. The food was obviously cold and soggy. The driver called the manager, Mo, and put him on the phone with me. He said “ok so? We’re busy, what do you want me to do about it?” I said, “well, I paid a lot of money for food and it didn’t arrive fresh or hot and I don’t feel comfortable paying for it. I would like to be refunded.” I didn’t mind giving the food back at this point if necessary. My friend had already written a review about the situation and so Mo told me that he would refund my order if I took the review down. I agreed, but then he said to also give the food back and take the review down first and he will refund it later. It felt like a trick because I never got my previous refund. I politely declined and said I would prefer to have the refund. No then said that if I needed to pay the driver for the food (which I had already paid through the app) or give the food back. I said “no, thank you. I’d prefer not to do that and just want a refund for the food since it took so long and was cold.” No then told me that if I didn’t return the food or pay the driver that he would have the driver call the police. I asked “for what?” And he hung up the phone. The driver sat outside for another 20 minutes and called me 3 times and texted my phone saying his boss said he needed to come back with money for the food or the food or it was coming out of his paycheck. I told the driver several times that I already paid for the food. He finally left and the food ended up in the trash after a few bites. It wasn’t good and I went to bed without eating after such a stressful and scary situation, that was entirely unnecessary. As a business, you need to let customers know if the order will take a long time to fill if you are busy. I do not recommend ordering from this place. Read moreFirst, I think this place is surprised at the amount of business they have and that is what has caused delivery order issues. I have been here about five times. I get two slices to go. It can take five to 10 minutes to get my slices. I had only come on weekdays until today. I went on a Saturday and there seemed to be some confusion at the counter. Three workers. Two came from the back as I was ordering. I guess that's why my ticket didn't go up on the board. They checked into it after I had waited awhile. I didn't have to ask. They had to make it because it didn't happen. They said it would be 7 minutes for my slices. Things happen. When I did get my slices instead of two cheese, it was one cheese and one pepperoni. I was not going to say anything at tat point. This is the first time I have had an issue. There are 7 four-top tables. Two are sometimes being used to make pizza boxes. No coke products. Boo. The slices are large and foldable. There many types of pizza. This is a thin foldable slice that is not charred. This is my type of pizza. Dr pepper in photo for scale. Didn't have a 🍌.
It's been some time since I've been here. Today I got two slices of cheese. It wasn't as good as my previous ones. They had added extra cheese before they warmed up my slices. Read moreWe have ordered from this company several times with no issues. However, in our recent order they put chicken on our pizza that was supposed to be vegetarian. After we tried to resolve the issue through Slice, the app we ordered from, we were told that we had to provide "proof", like a photo or physically drive the pizza back to the store at 8pm (while we were getting my 4yo ready for bed), or they would not provide a refund. The pizza is in the trash at this point, because we don't eat meat and it's already 8pm. Furthermore, apparently the kitchen staff was told the person emailing us that "the pizza was made correctly". Maybe it was, and we just received someone else's chicken pizza, but I was basically called a liar over a pizza. I called the store and was told the owner didn't have a set schedule for me to be able to contact him, and no one else could provide a refund. This is such a terrible way to run a business, and a surefire way to loose customers. DO NOT order from this company, unless you want to be incredibly inconvenienced when THEY make a mistake, and risk losing your money to them unless you bring the incorrect pizza...
