Honestly surprised this place has so many positive reviews, which is what drove us to choose it for dinner. As soon as we walked in: it was greesy EVERYWHERE- I mean grease dripping off their signage, footprints on the floor and on the chairs and tables. Every table was dirty. There were bugs (no not just flies, which were also everywhere) like beetles crawling all over the floor and walls. The employees looked utterly clueless- the first 10 minutes after we ordered they stood around and talked. Then finally started making food. After about 15 minutes they had started finally dishing out the bowls. (Setup is similar to Panda Express, they just have to grab a bowl and dish out the food while someone makes the fresher food in the back) and while orders started piling up it just started getting stale and the employees seemed confused about what they were dishing out. My fiancé and I didn’t even wait to taste the food, after about 20 minutes he went to get a refund. The manager came out of the back and asked if we didn’t like the food, my fiancé politely explained that we were waiting and noticed how flustered the employees looked while food just sat there. She quietly said she’d give him a refund online and then retreated to the back. Didn’t stay up to help her team. Her staff clearly needed direction and help and she just went to go hide in the back. We took our business to Fuzzy’s...
Read moreI recently visited Cupbop, a Korean BBQ restaurant on Campus Corner, and I have to say, I had an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff, including Brad, Shane, and Joel, were extremely welcoming and friendly. They made me feel right at home and were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
Speaking of the menu, I ordered the Rock Bop, and it was hands down the best Korean BBQ I have ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the flavors were out of this world. I couldn't stop raving about it to my friends and family after my meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was also fantastic. It was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire visit, and I think that's a testament to the wonderful staff.
Overall, I highly recommend Cupbop to anyone looking for delicious Korean BBQ and an unforgettable dining experience. Thanks again to Brad, Shane, and Joel for making my visit so enjoyable! I will definitely...
Read moreMan… where to start? First off, service is wonderful. If you’re a stranger and it’s your first time, consult the experts. Literally, just ask the folk workin and they’ll guide you in a way you should go that will not leave you feeling like you just wasted your time or money to be unfulfilled. I couldn’t help myself but to get Kimchi, and their Korean style corn dog is actually better than Mochinut’s offerings. Sweet Potato Noods were amazing. Everything was so great. The meats are delicious, and their bowls are massive. I was not aware one should shake their whole Bop. I’ll be doing that next time. Definitely get a spicy option, because you’re an Adult and you need a bit more of a lively experience. I had no idea I was sitting down next to the owners when I went in, but I’m glad I met them. I appreciate good food, but I appreciate good...
