IHOP — Restaurant in Norman

My family of 4 went to this Norman location tonight and was very disappointed. Not only did our food take almost 45 minutes for a kids meal, 2 omelets, a waffle with 2 eggs & 2 sausage links, it came out warm not fresh and was $72 before tip! The first round they attempted to give us was wrong. Then they had 2 other tables around us also had their orders wrong. We all waited another 10-15mins to get our food. Our waitress was Mya and she really needs training. She had no idea what the food looked like when she did bring it to us and even said, "I don't know what this is" referring to thr poblano omelet. But our meal was rang up with the charge for kids meal, they promote kids eat free right, we were there a little before 6pm. So I asked for that to be removed, which she did. BUT I wonder how many others get that charge and not realize it!?! After she "discounted" my ticket is when i noticed my daughters meal was $21 just for hers, as her items from the fruity tooty waffle combo, was broken down individually instead of $12.99 like it shows on the menu. The sodas were $3.99, not $3.79 which not a big deal, although overpriced, but they obviously are making up their own cost at this place. I did not get the correction on my daughters meal cause we were ready to just leave after an hour and half of being there. There was maybe 8 tables total in this place and I cannot believe how long it took, how incompetent our waitress and the kitchen staff was, and that no one seemed to be trained. Will not be returning to this one nor the Moore location as the same thing happened there not too long ago. Check your receipts people if you go. I hope this gets to the manager and they work on their night staff because it is...

Ok, lets start with one: I drove further away to this Ihop, hoping it would be better than the one closer to us. Nope... Ok, the waitress was rude but with a smile... She wouldn't even give us a high chair for my son. Said that we either had to move, or use a booster seat. And pretty much shoved it in my face. Which booster seats in a cloth fluffy booths don't work well, it kept slipping and my son almost kept falling out. So i just took him out of it. Then she didn't give us any silverware, the guy that brought us our food did that. She also didn't get my son his drink that came with his meal, didn't ask for it or anything, and when i asked about it she scuffed. My pancakes didn't have what i wanted on it, the ice coffee i had was horrible, and i had quite a few(they were free refills, like duh), each one was too sweet and just nasty. Until i got one to go, AND it was prefect 😣😑. She didn't give my son his snack, that came with his meal. AND she charged 1.00 each, extra because my son and i wanted scrambled eggs with cheese. i have never paid without at least being told, but never have i paid extra for scrambled eggs with cheese at Ihop, and we go often... She also hardly came to our table, but one of the times she did asked if we wanted to keep our dirty plates for our pancakes, then tried to leave it even we said no. Like the whole thing was horrible. We went to the one further away because the one closer is always slow, like super slow! But I'll take slow over last night's service any day. Upon entering we were greeted, but when we told them we need a highchair they acted like it was going to be difficult. We were seated and the waiter didn't introduce himself, and I still dont know what his name is. This IHOP seems alot smaller than the ones I've been too previously. We were only given one set of utensils and the tropical twist tasted very tartish. I don't ever understand why it's so cold in all the IHOPs we've been too, but someone needs to adjust the thermostat. It seemed like it took quite a while for our food, the waiter even came over and apologized for the wait time, several times. We asked a waitress passing by about the temperature and she said she would ask her manager and she walked over to a bunch of other waitresses and they all looked over at our table. Does no one where name tags anymore?! The waiter brought us our very hot food and then dropped the check, as if we didn't want anything else? My onion were very overcooked and the amount of fries that we got were for ordering two large orders, wasn't even portioned enough for the price of it! By the way you may want to let your employees know when they swear over by the POS systems, everybody can still hear them. We were not at all impressed by the food. I don't know if we'll give this place another try because it's out of our way, and we only came here because another manager covering at another IHOP told us to...
