I would love to name the person responsible for this review at Home Depot Norman on Ed Noble, but that store is so unethical there is no telling what they would do. If you want your life turned upside down and deal with the most incompetent people in the history of customer, then this is your store. Two weeks ago we bought $3500.00 in appliances, $2500.00 in flooring and were going to be charged $1000.00 for install. A week ago my friend went to pay the balance and schedule installation of flooring. The âpersonâ we dealt with (who said she was a manager, which if true, Home Depot seriously needs to up their game when promoting people) called the installer, who said the first opening was Sept. 8. My friend told her to schedule it because he was closing on his house on Sept. 7. Based on that fact, we scheduled cleaning and a number of deliveries the following week. On Sept. 7, my friend went back to the store to see what time they would begin. The âpersonâ he originally dealt with pulled up the schedule only to say we weren't scheduled. She blamed the installer and said she would see what she could do. A number of very heated calls from me (after a total of about 45 minutes on hold all day) and calls from him to an assistant manager and the âpersonâ resulted in promises to try to fix it. Their solution was to have the installer call my friend to say he would do it Sept. 12. Not good enough. So Sept. 7 ended with no resolution. On Sept. 8, the original install date, the âpersonâ said they would use their remodel people for the install and they could do it Sept. 9. My friend was leaving town Sept. 10 for a funeral and the âpersonâ knew that. She never said it would take more than one day at any time: not when we bought the flooring, when he paid for it, in the cluster of calls yesterday. Not until today, after saying it would be installed tomorrow, did she call back an hour later to say it would probably take more than a day and since he couldn't be there Saturday, they didn't think they could schedule it on the 9th, but they would work on it. After more heated phone calls and no resolution, at 3:30 p.m. my friend finally agreed to cancel the $3500.00 in appliances but decided to keep the flooring to expedite the process of getting it laid. And during all this, except for twice, store management's solution as to who best to handle the problem was to have the âpersonâ who caused this fiasco to begin with answer the calls and run interference. Yeah, seriously bad business. I have had to cancel all the things I had scheduled for next week while we give our business to someone who will appreciate it....clearly anybody but them. At no time did the store manager call to see what he could do to keep our business...nice!! So, again, if you want to deal with incompetent people, have your life turned upside down and experience the absolute worst customer service ever, then go to the Home Depot on Ed Noble Pkwy. You will not be...
Read moreWeâve bought a brand new washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, & fridge all from Loweâs in Owasso. We never had a single issue with Loweâs during any of those purchases. We had a great experience every time. We just relocated to Norman & purchased a brand new washer & dryer from the Norman Home Depot. The only reason we purchased from them was because they had the soonest promised delivery time over other vendors. The installation crew told me upon installation that the brand new dryer they delivered didnât work & that I needed to get someone out within 48 hours to look at my electrical, otherwise I would be stuck with it. I had someone out in less than 24 hours to look at the electrical, which was fine, & I contacted Home Depot in that 24 hours. They told me this was a warranty issue that I needed to handle. We told the manager that they needed to pickup their machines, we were returning them. We spent several days on the phone with the manager dealing with this situation. We had to schedule & wait for another installation crew to pick up the machines to return them. The scheduled day, the installation crew asked us what they were scheduled to do because they had no idea. We were told as soon as the machines were scanned in, we would receive our refund. We received confirmation that they were scanned in, but after several days our refund was never issued. We spent several more days on the phone with the manager again dealing with this issue. He kept informing us that their machines were acting up & we would be receiving it. After finally receiving half of our refund, we were informed by the manager that the other half would be coming. He said the machines were acting up. After the other half of our refund never came, he then told us that it was a restock fee. They were charging us $700 for us buying a brand new dryer from them, them delivering a âbrand newâ dryer to us that didnât work, & us returning it. The manager finally told my husband that he had to come down to the store to swipe his credit card to receive our refund. I spoke to Home Depot corporate, & they told me that the reason the other refund hadnât come was because two different companies were issuing them because the machines had been picked up separately by different companies as the computer stated. All false. We ordered both machines online from Home Depot, both were picked up on the same day by the same crew. Corporate told me that they couldnât reach in to the cash register to give me a refund. That was their customer service. Home Depot, the Norman location, & the Norman manager werenât concerned whatsoever with their customer service towards us. This entire situation lasted a month. We will continue to take our business to Loweâs where we feel our...
Read moreHome Depot in Norman has the worst ever customer service skills. Their math skills aren't that great either...losing a customer (pro customer at that) over 10 bags of sand ($5.48/ea.). Let's do a math problem I'm in my forties I could still be building patios another 20 years easy....my clientele base grows exponentially every year so say I ONLy do ONE patio a month for the remainder of those 20 years...$1000 in materials cost x 240 months (12months/year x 20 years) = $240,000 LOST!! over $50 worth of Sand because your CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALISTS don't know how to LISTEN to the customer's needs. WAY TO GO HOME DEPOT. That's real good business sense there. And I will tell EVERY person I know and that I talk to which is a lot in twenty years time (I won't give you another math lesson on that one)....Way to drop the ball I predict that Home Depot will sometime in the near future begin to lose seeing as how they have no business mind whatsoever. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't belly up because in the past 3 years I have been using my pro account there customer service skills have become non-existent. SMH LOWE'S here I come. Paying a little more for the same product is worth every penny to me to be treated right! Wish I could tag them in this little elementary lesson. Chase (One of the managers i suppose) especially. He told me to bring my receipt up there and we would talk lol đI said with me paying $6 a gallon for gas I'm driving nowhere to "talk" to you guys are you kidding me isn't that what we are doing currently!! RANT OVER!! sorry guys đ«ŁJust know Home Depot in Norman is horrible horrible horrible they do not value their customers period. (My original review a year ago!đ) Darn Shame it has gone from that to this in a year)
Best Home Depot around! The people that work here are the best around! They go above and beyond! Thanks for your awesome customer...
