It's a good thing I wasn't sharing with my husband that day lol I am a bagel snob! I even got a job at my hometown bagel shop that I would go to as a small child with my parents. I love bagels so much. This bagel shop is cool and convenient because it has a drive thu. I ordered the breakfast sandwich the first time I went before this order of the lunch style sandwich. First time going I got sausage, egg and cheese on a asiago bagel and it was pleasantly good. So I went back again and got the lunch club sandwich on an asiago bagel, it was good/ok. Obviously it wasn't cut in half correctly, which surprised me but luckily I wasn't sharing with my husband that day. It was hard not to notice the strawberry cream cheese though that remained on the knife or somehow ended up on my sandwich. It wasn't strawberries and cream but it was and ok sandwich. But I would recommend the breakfast sandwich or an original of mine, a plain bagel with plain cream cheese that I get for my kids everytime (they love it). It's cut in half as well so I can give it to my kids in the car piece by piece so they don't get a mess everywhere. Even though it was a little bittersweet I'll be back to tame my...
Read moreSo my husband and I were excited to try Old School Bagel Norman. We were on our way out of town and decided to go through the drive thru. I was glad we stopped in the parking lot to get things ready to eat. Both of our bagels were supposed to be toasted but they were brunt on the inside. My Asiago bagel was black and not edible. I'm not sure who was checking the quality of the the food coming down the line but I would hope this is not the standard for their drive-thru food. As I walked back inside there was a thick smell of burnt food. I went and asked if they would please remake my bagel and that it would be toasted not burnt. I told them that both of the bagels were burnt but that mine was the worst. The girl did ask if I wanted both remade but I said that my husband still had decided to eat his. They were not busy. There were four employees total. One drive-thru customer and one inside customer waiting on their order. They did remake it and it was just barely toasted... better that than...
Read moreHaven't been to an OSB for a few years, so I was really excited to try out this new location since it's closer to my home. The French toast bagel was disappointing; I'm not sure if all locations now make that bagel the same way now, but it was not the same from when I last had one; I was actually wondering if I was given the wrong bagel upon seeing it because they're made so differently now, and I didn't enjoy the taste, not sweet like they used to be. Also, my chocolate muffin was heated up so much that it was just falling apart while I was trying to eat it; should have just said no when asked if I wanted it heated! Still giving 3 stars because I had another bagel sandwich that was still pretty great from when I last had it, and my mom enjoyed what she got (first ever visit for her to an OSB). I'll be sure to steer clear of the French toast bagel from now on, and won't have muffins heated...
