The service was friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate how nice they were. The Thai Milk tea was delicious. Definitely recommend it. I ordered tofu with Chinese greens and a side of steamed vegetables. The veggies in both dishes were very lightly steamed so they still had a green sort of taste. I usually like steamed veggies to be in the steam long enough for them to turn dark green and sweet but still crunchy so I wasn't a huge fan of this dish. The tofu was good though. There was no sauce on veggies but the menu never said there would be so the Chinese greens were just plain. Overall that dish just felt plain with nothing really special enough to order it ever again. Next time I'll get something different next time. I also had a rice soup which was also very plain with a few grains of rice in it. It was okay. My friend got a meat dish and enjoyed it very much so I think i just ordered the wrong thing. I'll have to try it again someday and pick a different thing off the menu. Overall though I think the place is good. Service is friendly. And love the booths you get to sit in very private and nice. Personally i just have to go back and try the food again to get a new opinion. Give it a try for yourself and decide.

My daughter and I went bc this is my favorite campus spot to eat ! I ordered the spicy noodles (the pad see-ew was a little to sweet last time), and she ordered the shrimp tempura . I gave this overall rating 5 stars bc I want them to stay open, but the shrimp tempura was battered like a frozen regular fried shrimp, and was pretty bad. They don’t have a lunch menu anymore , so I paid 37 bucks for the most ordinary not yummy fried shrimp ever plus a jasmine tea plus spicy noodles . The spicy noodles were good, but not amazing . We felt rushed . Waitress brought us our check without us asking , offered to go boxes way before we were ready. They didn’t fill my water at the end , and it was very clear they were ready for us to leave . That being said I imagine their wait staff is over worked and ready to go home since the lunch rush is light….probably again bc lunch at this place will run you 37 bucks plus tip. No shade bc it’s hard to stay open after COVID ! I tried to leave a 15% tip in frustration but threw in another buck out of guilt, but they were pushy . Sorry Thai delight but this trip was sub par.

Food was surprisingly tastey for the lunch I'm use to at average establishments. Ginger chicken was what I ordered. Ordered it at 1 for heat. I think I got a 2 or 3 though. Spicy! Nose is running. But flavor was on point. I recommend salad over soup. Soup tasted like ramen, and there wasn't anything in it but broth and a few noodles. Very sad. Plus there was a hair in it unfortunately. So they replaced it with the salad which was night and day. The establishment looks clean, with above typical decor while still quaint. Waitresses dressed in uniform. Bathroom was clean. While ignoring the hair issue, I was also displeased that my food came out first ahead of my friends. By about 7 minutes. It is very rude to serve a table separately, and it misstimes the experience. My Asian friend that was with me said it is something Asians typically ignore, I'm starting to believe it. From now on, I'll start asking to be served at the same time to save myself some frustration.

Thai delight is hands down not just the best food in Norman, or even Oklahoma, but the best food I've ever had in my entire LIFE. I cannot say enough about how much the family at Thai Delight has served my boyfriend and I over the years with nothing but love, friendship and of course the most amazing Thai food you can think of. My boyfriend and I discovered this gem of a restaurant during our years at OU (we are now 28) and we are lifelong costumers. The owners treated us like family from the beginning (even as broke students) and taught us about their culture and food. We hate that we can no longer get Thai Delight at least once a week anymore (we live in Texas), but anytime we go through Oklahoma it is MANDATORY for us to stop and get their Pad Thai, Panang Curry, the Texas Roll (horns down), spicy crab salad, spicy tuna salad, and lots of hugs (pre-covid). Absolutely anything you order from here will not disappoint you. We have never once had a bad experience -- it only gets better each time we go. We make sure to tell anyone and everyone about their place and everyone agrees it is OUTSTANDING. On top of everything, I went vegan after college and they can accommodate any meal I want now to make it vegan. I mean, come on how great are they!! They are simply just the best and we highly suggest you go ball out HARD with our friends because we can say for certain you won't be...

The quality of the food here is amazing without a doubt and delicious. However, the service was subpar. The employees were being very loud with several DoorDash riders.

Then the restaurant proceeded to start cleaning up and closing 45 minutes early than what they advertise. The kitchen poured bleach out almost 45 minutes before closing and it filled the entire dining room with the smell of bleach.

Then to make matters worse, we request an appetizer that never came, we asked for to go boxes and was only brought 1 and we needed multiple. Needless to say one of the family members who own the establishment finishes in the kitchen then proceeds to turn the lights off in the restaurant before the close time. Please do this AFTER YOU CLOSE.

We are clearly trying to get rushed out well before the place closes and the waiter ignores my requests for another box. lol. I’m trying to get going and your own staff isn’t even being helpful.

They’re focused on vacuuming while you have guests eating 🙄🙄🙄 … whatever happened on 04/01/2024 was surely an April Fools Joke. This is likely the last time I come spend $30 a person at this place or come by in a long while…

Yall should have the health inspector come by for the amount of chlorine in the air alone while guests were eating....
