Chunky Monkey Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Norris

Been going to this store since I was a child :) However there absolutely nothing special about this place. Don’t get me wrong I love Mayfield Ice cream, which in TN you can get at almost every store, they do not make their own ice cream they just buy mayfield and resell it in a cone or cup. Every since I was a child there were always flies in the restaurant until I stopped going in 2017 as a young teenager. Friend of mine found a heroin needle in their bathroom; their nasty dark back rooms lookin bathroom. Wether you are a local or passing by do not eat here, just go to the local Clinton Walmart and go get some freaking awesome Mayfield Ice cream. The Chunky Monkey is making Mayfield look bad by reselling it from their nasty Karen infested dingy restaurant. Would give 0 stars but google...

Wouldn't spend another penny at this establishment. Older gentlemen ordering behind me made a remark about the high prices, and the girls daddy stuck his head out of the window and chewed the old man out. Insulted him and then told him to leave the property after he spent his money. If you don't want your daughter to hear complaints then don't have your precious daughter run the window, interacting with the public. The 80 year old man didn't say nothing like "the patties were so thin you can see thru them", I said that. I see why your business is about to shut down. You have a horrible attitude towards your customers. Burgers were expensive and the patties were so thin you could see...

This was a really nice, small town ice cream place. The staff was very friendly and offered samples. We got a children's cup for my daughter, and it was enormous for a child's portion (not a complaint). The bathrooms were very clean, which is always important. The seating area was comfortable and organized.

They have lots of specialty items on their menu. My only recommendation would be for them to do something about the menus they have behind the counter. The font size is very small and difficult to read what the ingredients are. Prices are very reasonable for a local small business.

We just moved to the area, so this will definitely be a regular...
