CM Chicken Norristown — Restaurant in Norristown

Ok let me just say if I was solely making this review on the chicken alone I would give this a 5 star review. The portions are huge (we ordered the whole chicken with snow sauce and onions) and there is enough for my husband and I to have a generous dinner plus he is taking the leftovers for lunch to work. The chicken was the best I ever had - hot, fresh, crispy, perfectly cooked and juicy on the inside. The only reason I am taking away one star is because we ordered the cheese monster fries and you don’t get what the picture shows. The fries themselves are good quality but when I order anything “cheese monster” I expect them to be covered in cheese sauce like they are in the photo. You will not get the cheesy fries in the photo. They were coated in cheese powder and we were given a very small dipping cup of cheese which wouldn’t even cover the top layer of fries - it was less than 1/8 cup of cheese sauce. They should really toss these in cheese sauce and make them as advertised, especially when you are paying $8 for them compared to the $2 add-on fries offered with the chicken, but other than...

I got the Spicy Garlic Fried Chicken (24 piece boneless). It has been my go to choice. You could feed two people or have two meals (just throw it in the air fryer to reheat). The chicken is really crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The Spicy Garlic sauce is spicy but has a sweetness to it. I have also had the gizzard which I think should come in bigger but sizes but it is also delicious if you like gizzards. Once again very crunchy on the outside.

The staff is also very friendly and they give you a card that after so many entrees you get one free. They take the time to tell you what the various items on the menu are. I had no idea what snow sauce was until today.

Ive been meaning to try CM chicken but due to the distance of other locations , never got around to, and I learned this place exists and I went Saturday early evening. Parking was bit limited but inside was spacious, maybe they could place more tables, and they take order in person or kiosk. We placed an order on kiosk. And waited in table.
