Village Pizza — Restaurant in North Adams

This place is the most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. It has been years since I have been here because of the horrible service I had before. But I've was told there was new people working there and it was much better. Well that is a giant lie. We ordered food they brought the food and it was someone else's order they said they left my order on someone else's steps and then they went and got that and brought me the cold food that had been sitting on someone's steps. They didn't even make it the way it was ordered. Then when I wanted a receipt for my refund I was told I was harassing them and hung up on over and over again. Their excuse, because they're busy. Same excuse as last time. Which is a pure example of just bad management and a bad business. Lots of places are very busy and they manage to get your order the right way. "We are busy" is just a lousy excuse for being a bad business. If you can't handle the business get out of it.

I am super impressed with how Village has improved. Two years ago I wouldn't have given even 1 star. It was, for almost 2 decades, the only thing I would order if I was up late drinking. I could literally only stomach it drunk. I always had an issue with my order, never ever getting it 100% accurate.... Until now! They sure have stepped up the game. I've ordered more in the last 2 months than I have in the last 2 decades. Even the customer service has been improving and menu items are available (there was quite awhile where they'd run out of so much, too much). The menu is a tad too big and room for reduction without compromising volume. I am happy to see the transformation and hope it stays! The hot sausage sub and bacon breadsticks are some of my favorites, and can't forget the most yummy chipotle BBQ sauce!!!! Great job and looking forward to more Village...

I tried to apply for a job there but the lady that was sitting at her table came up to the counter and complained that the food was gross the guy at the counter was very professional but as the lady left he told me that she was complaining earlier so when I left she stopped me and told me that she will never eat there again when I arrived home I got a call from the owner and asked me if I wanted to start working for her I talked for awhile with her and tried to negotiate a salary but to no avail would she realize my worth so I gladly declined and she told me good luck if you ask me carefully research a place before you decide to apply or eat at a place where customer should be right and employment...
