Seated immediately upon entering, we had reservations. 25 minutes later our waitress stopped by to apologize, saying that there was some confusion as to who our table was assigned to. Rushed off without taking our drink order. Returned 10 minutes later, for drink order, but ran off again without asking for our order (at this point we had essentially memorized the menu). 5 minutes later a busser brought bread and filled water glasses. 10 minutes later our drinks finally arrived, but still no order taken,(if you're not fond of math, that's 50 minutes from arrival to getting drinks). We finally ordered, split a Carne flatbread, prosciutto, meatballs, sausage, pomodoro & crispy pancetta. Delicious, we took over half home. My girlfriend had a chicken special, sorry, I don't remember the description, but very good. I had saltimbocca and it was excellent. We split a chocolate layer cake with raspberry sauce for dessert to top off the evening and of course our server apologized again saying that it looked beautiful when she picked it up, however the cake had tipped over on it's way to the table. A little messy as far as presentation was concerned, but very tasty nonetheless. The food was exceptional and that's the reason for 4 stars....maybe the poor service should have dropped it to 3 stars, but I don't want to dissuade anyone from going. The service can be corrected, but the meals...

Visiting from New York City, I expected much better food quality for the price.

The service was fine but the pasta was so overcooked for all three dishes we ordered. My mother and husband complained to me but were too scared to say anything to the server. It had the consistency of canned spaghetti. Just a plate of mush. Pizza delivery places in NYC cook the pasta better. I’m honestly shocked.

For a $28 dish, I expected more. I sent it back and got the swordfish instead which was much better. But it arrived after everyone else finished their meals. Overall the dining experience was not worth our $165 bill.

The antipasto was underwhelming as well. Nothing more than what tasted like Boar’s Head pepperoni and salami for $15.

Adding a star because the mussels were great and the drinks were cheap.

I would avoid this place and go to nearby towns where the food is...

Very good food and good service. Very pricey compared to other NAMA options, but the cheap places just simply don't have as good of food. The portions seemed small at first, but the entrees are not, and in the end I had a ton left over (from a entree and appetizer and drinks). I got calamari and "preferito di madre" (I assume this means "mom's spaghetti") with the caprese salad. Every part was delicious on it's own, plus there was delicious bread with a dip included. The drinks were good too, tasty and not weak.

My only peeves were it was a bit loud and crowded and I was sat near a crying baby, and some ambient Italian instrumental music would set a much better mood than the radio pop garbage that was playing.

If the price bothers you then you should probably come only on a special occasion, as it won't be cheap, but I doubt you'll find better...

Pretty, accessible space. Friendly staff. Wine was fair selection and good. Variety of offerings including fish, pasta, meat. Yummy desserts like tiramisu. As a foodie, from Portland, it was a bit lacking for me: Only the fettuccine is made in house. The Mushroom Ravioli sauce was sticky, like glue. It needed a sauce, like a cream sauce ; my dinner salad was literally a tiny demi-salad of wilted baby greens, a bit of onion and tomato and sparse with too-heavy-on-the-balsamic dressing. This needed fresh more veggies in a balanced dressing; finally the chocolate mouse was neither chocolaty or mousse-y enough for me, it was loose and pale, more chocolate, and chilled please!. The locals highly recommend so perhaps I should try again and try other dishes. To be fair, for $94+/2, I expect great, tasty in-house made food.

We have been getting take out alot from here! And my son and father dined in. Our favorite is the asain chili chicken littles, with a salad. And the boneless garluc parm wings! The wings have a sauce but some how stay crispy by time they get home. The Asian chili sauce on the crispy chicken with brioche toasted buns is amazing! Even the salad was superb lots of fresh greens, with pickled red onions, pickled tomatoes and cucumbers. The balsamic is out of this world!! I could drink it lol. And the staff is always friendly. And its so cool to see the owner/chef working right beside the kitchen workers. Always friendly and you can tell they work hard at this!! Many thanks for creating our favorite take out place in North county 🥗
