We showed up at 11:15 p.m. ready to have a drink or two, then leave. A staff member was blocking the door, and when they checked our ID's, she stared at it for several seconds. We have loved our experience in North Adams so far and were excited to show our friend from New York the place. It took several mins to get noticed by the bartender, and our drink order felt rushed. When we went for another round, I couldn't help but feel ignored by both bartenders as they were clearly helping people around me. They were cleaning up quickly (while there were well 15 other patrons still in there drinking,) so we decided to down our drink and head back to our bnb for the evening. As well left, they shut the door and locked it behind us. Literally. We are in our 30s and quite obviously queer. It couldn't help but feel slightly targeted. This seems off character from what we have experienced for the last several days in North Adams. People are kind, friendly, and hospitable. I hope this was just an off night for them, but again, I didn't feel like the best experiences...

I was so disappointed there were friends and family I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to, and one of the most important night of our lives was cut short.
We listed the after party in our wedding programs, wedding welcome bags, told our friends to get out cash since it is cash only. Thinking about this still makes my blood boil, as this was over a month ago now and I still feel like such an injustice...
Read moreI'm from out of state, and I came for a concert it was my first experience in Massachusetts. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed. It took me over 20 min to buy and drink, and when i finally got one it was not made right... at all. Not only that, but they were completely rude and wouldn't take my money until I threw it at the bar. I heard New Yorkers were bad... but I've never had an experince like this. I was excited to come to Massachusetts until I came here. I cannot put into words how disappointed and upset I am. Call me a bi^** if needed... but neither my friends or me deserved this kind of treatment. Needless to say, solely because of this bar, I will not be coming back. And I will be telling my fiends and...
