Burger King — Restaurant in North Andover

Burger King is my favorite. If they ever get rid of the whopper buy one get one for a dollar deal, I'd retract that statement. But then, you can get a entire bag of chicken nuggets (50 nuggets!) for about half the cost of six whoppers. The issue I have is why they can charge the Massachusetts 6.25% tax on their items as if they're a restaurant. It's unclear why this is true, as groceries in stores are prepared by people and machines, just like Burger King. People can have a full career, working at Burger King, and if anyone at Burger King would hire a post-grad mechanical engineer, I'd love to work out this automatic burger making vendor service that is extremely high output, but requires Universal Robotics robot arms to implement. Imagine having a Burger King that ran lights off, 24-7? That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard of, and it's so close to being possible... I can almost taste it! If only all customers didn't require novel items with each purchase... But the robotics would be able to manage custom orders, if customers didn't order anything like a Burger with 10000 extra cheeses on it. That'd make the robots very easy to get distracted with stacking cheese instead if...

I will never go back to this Burger King. Not even if I'm starving. I love Burger King. It's the staff at this place that has made my 3 experiences there horrific.

They are unprofessional to say the least. The entire time you're ordering they are discussing the day's drama with their girlfriends, cursing and "huh?"-ing you while you try to speak. The girl taking my order the last time I went, was wearing her filthy half fingered gloves that she had worn outside on her smoke break (a second prior), proceeded to take my money, then scoop my french fries and pat them down with her glove. Disgusting. 3/3 times I have been, my order has been wrong. Having limited time on my work lunch break, I have not complained.

Every time I have been there, I have found myself in line next to a guy in a business suit, and we just stare at each other in awe and disgust. I never write reviews, but this place has pushed me to it. Be warned! I'm not going back. Why not spend an extra dollar and walk two more feet to Panera next door?...

Waited for at least half an hour for my order. When I niticed that people who ordered after me were getting their food and I hadnt, I questioned the MOD. She told me that my Whopper was just being prepared (seriously after 1/2 hour). I continued to wait and when asked again where my order was, the MOD said the Whopper was ready. It wasn't even prepared the way I had ordered it. The person who was preparing the food had to be told several times in both English and Spanish how the Whopper should be prepared, he stood there with a blank stare until someone else had to take over. When I asked for a refund, I was told they couldn't give me a refund but would give me coupons for a free Whopper instead. The coupons expired in 2019 so who knows if the coupons...
