Edit-7-27-2025 My husband and I came here for breakfast today. Completely changed my mind. Maybe it's the time of day or food selections that made it better. Our waitress was fantastic and she was rather busy also. Breakfast was delicious and devoured the hot turkey sandwich with mashed.

Edit- Came back with my son and was again disappointed by the quality of the food vs the bill. $58 for 2 burgers, 2 shakes and 2 fries....really....never again.

I was so excited to try this new little spot, who doesn't love the vibe of a 1950s diner. It was a little busy but the whole bar area was empty and 3 booths were open. There was one waitress whom I asked "can we sit at the bar" she replies "Yes". We happily sit and become excited about what to order. We take in our surroundings and notice the milkshake machines. UUUMMM 2 please! At this point it had been about 10 mins okay nothing major but have not been offered menus or drinks. After about 7 more minutes I find the right moment and politely ask for menus and she kindly gave us them. Another waitress starts the shift and asks us what we'd like to drink and of course we order milkshakes! They are very delicious and will definitely order again! We chatted and giggled slurping up the sweet goodness for about 20 min. We enjoyed our time together but were rather hungry too. I again motion to the waitress and ask to order. Again they are very polite and take our order, I go for the play on a big mac with a side of fresh cut fries and coleslaw, my daughter orders a crispy chicken sandwich with fresh cut fries and coleslaw. Another 30 minutes goes by and our food arrives. First the coleslaw, I salt and pepper for flavor and take a juicy spoonful,I instantly think "eww that has zero flavor ". I push it aside because we are now handed our meals, the dishes heaping with beautiful fresh cut fries and our sandwiches. I snatch up that Heinz 57 and plop it on my fries, they were as good as they looked. I chased the first steamy mouthful with some sugary chocolate shake. I was pretty happy and excited to taste that juicy burger with the "special sauce". I take a big bite and think "okay, okay, it's a buger", I go in for a follow-up bite and get hit with an over powering taste of onion. I look and there is a rather thick slice of solid onion, every ring from inside out in the dead middle of my burger. Well that's not great, if I wanted a slab 'o' onion I would have asked for one. I look over at my daughters food and realize her "breaded chicken" sandwich is nothing more then a lame chicken patty...... really.... now is when I get irritated. So long story not so short, the food is mediocre, and not worth the price at all. Will I go back, yes I'd like to try the breakfast menu in hopes it will be better somehow. The strawberry shake us better then the...

I’ve had to edit my review- since my first visit we have gone back a handful of times and it just gets worse everytime… long waits (last time we went it was just me and my son and we waited for our food for 45 minutes for a burger and a grilled cheese) and their prices are outrageous for what you get. $8 for a burger and if you want French fries they cost $4 (the menu says fries and a 2nd side for $4 but the server told me that was wrong and the $4 price is only for one side) I’ve never been to a restaurant before in my life and had to PAY for fries with my sandwich.. Absolutely inflated and just not a good price at all for how basic the food is. Fried mushrooms are processed frozen and straight from a manufacturer, they are $5 and You only get 5 or 6 gross watery soggy mushrooms that don’t taste great. It’s okay if you’re broke and can’t afford anything but one sandwich or a side but other than that I wouldn’t recommend.

Great little diner, love the upgrades from when it was the Yak. I got a hot rod burger, fries, and coleslaw and my son got a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was great and the burger was one of the best I've had in the area. My server was Emma, she did a phenomenal job and the other server that was working was great as well but I didn't catch her name. Overall I had an amazing experience! Definitely going to be a regular spot for a bite to eat...

Today was my Mother's and mine fine time visiting Dolly's.

Upon entering Dolly's, I noticed that the parking lot was active and full; a good sign that the establishment has a large following and must be doing something right.

We both had breakfast. Mom ordered pancakes and I had the meat platter which included pancakes, potatoes, and steak.

Honestly, I doubt if I've ever had a more excellent, perfect breakfast before in my life! Everything was just prepared just right. Served hot and fresh. The plates and silverware were clean and made for great presentation of the food. Wonderful meal both Mother and I had.

The atmosphere (diner) is truly remarkable and you do get a sense of going back in time. In a sense, its truly a living history museum of times gone past. Love the Oldies music playing!

Dolly's is a very clean place. Displace any myths about the greasy diner. Dolly's definitely is not one of those. Clean food and clean restaurant.

Mom and I will now be...

This diner deserves a steady flow of customers. This food is on par with G&G's an that's a very big compliment. The prices of the food are incredibly reasonable and the proportion size is extremely generous. The pancakes are fluffy, light, and flavorful. You could tell the chilli was homemade and to be honest I HATE chilli, but this one was very good and it surprised me. My go to meal at any restaurant is hot turkey, mash, and stuffing. The stuffing was homemade, gravy was hot an delicious, turkey was moist, and potatoes were creamy. You could tell when you walk in its a family friendly atmosphere. Dining in or take out worth a try in my book.

We visited the Yak diner last year when in the area because we love vintage diners. We were concerned that it might be gone forever unless someone stepped up and saved it. Then learned that Dolly bought it and moved it down the road. We couldn't WAIT to visit, and finally made it today. IT WAS FABULOUS!!! The food, the service, the atmosphere, the meal, even the restrooms are off the charts cool! If you love vintage diners, excellent food, and great people, what are you waiting for? GO TO DOLLYS! Can't WAIT to go back! (By the way, their fries and burgers are the best on the planet!)
