Project 584 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in North Arlington

Just a little too loud for me....not the live music(which was very cool and sounded awesome,..It was the people who were talking SO LOUD...not when there was any music playing....But just in general. What is it about people who go to a bar and grille... That makes people scream so loudly back and forth to a person sitting at the other end of the bar...??? Their personal business???...I'm used to hardcore punk shows...LOUD!!! WAY back in the early 80's. If you couldn't hear someone trying to say something to you... you'd just point to your ears and shake your head. They would find you on a break outside or someplace...then you both would talk. I do like the place ...we left early about 10:PM...All of a sudden a VERY LOUD...VERY LARGE group of men and women walked in the door. Making it extremely hard to get out of this place. Talking SO LOUD and the women making faces at the people dressed casually (that is the norm there)...I don't know where they came from but men in suits and ties, women overdressed for a small local area bar...were looking down their noses at some of the locals....I don't care for people like that. Sorry...Im just the kind of person who smiles at everyone (if by chance they don't smile back... well I tried 😉.. Then that crowd became so LOUD...I thought I was going to scream and inched my way to and out the door... Relief is what I felt 🤗✌️♥️😉... It was all that noise I really didn't like and the snobby people. I go out to hear music... Not a bunch of unnecessarily loud people yelling at each other. The service was great 👍 Music was great 👍 food was good 👍...But I doubt I will be there again......

So I just had a horrible experience for the 2nd straight time I have visited it since it changed ownership. Service was horrendous!! Barely saw our waitress, which was hard to understand since we were the only table seated at the time. The food menu is only apps. No other options. Had to get my own drink and we had to get up to ask for boxes and the check. We received the boxes but no check and had to ask for it again. I guess they want you to pay with apple because they gave me my card back that they had. I believe that I did it right when I scan it so we proceeded out to my truck. Getting ready to pull out the owner and bartender came out after us like we robbed the place. Riddle me this ??? If you have my card why not just charge what was on file instead of chase after us like criminals?? Instead of giving the card back ask if I want to put it on the card on file as all other respectful bar/ pubs do!! SAVE YOUR TIME...

Food Project 584 N. Arlington NJ Service was excellent. For a dinner of appetizers and some drinks, just fine. Lots of specials after 9pm so it must get busy around then.

Mozzarella sticks - We don’t generally get mozzarella sticks but these were recommended by the waitress she said they were freshly made and they absolutely were! Just the right amount of crispy without being greasy. Melty, stretchy cheese that was hot but didn’t burn your mouth.

Wings, garlic parm Nice dry rub, cooked just right

Caesar salad Fresh with thin slices of Parmesan cheese and not smothered in dressing Chicken sliders

Spiked tea, fresh made, tea, lemon and vodka A nice treat!
